Best Buy points do not expire as long as the Best Buy account is open and in good standing. However, after 12 months of inactivity, the points in your account will be issued as reward certificates, bringing your rewards balance down to the $5 level. Any remaining points will be forfeited at that time.
To prevent any Best Buy points from being lost, redeem your points on a regular basis and make sure to cash in any unredeemed rewards before closing your account.
