Piggybacking on LaKhaun's response above - it depends if the money market is with a bank or investment advisor. See the prior answer for liquidity on an investment advisor money market account type. With banks, there is *no difference* in liquidity between a savings and money market account - both are completely liquid accounts you can access at any time, deposit or withdrawal.

Yes. A savings account is cash held at bank or credit union. A money market is similar to a mutual fund of short term securities that should earn more interest than a savings account but you have to sell the shares of that fund to get your cash.
