The only way to answer your question correctly would be for you to check out the marketplace and compare the results with that being offered by your employer. Coincidentally, the ACA marketplace has an open enrollment period that began November 1, 2015 and I believe is extended to January 31, 2016. The marketplace will give you a significant number of options for deductibles and co-pays and should provide you with enough information to compare the results against what your employer is offering. Based upon your age and health, try to determine what best suits your current needs and use that information as a guideline for determining which plan is best. One way or the other, and assuming you carry insurance, there's going to be a cost. Also, keep in mind that there are now tax penalties for those who failed to carry insurance to protect themselves.Good luck.
