It may well be worth your exploring with an employment -related attorney the concerns you've expressed. My suggestion is to contact the attorney by phone and ask him if she/he will give you an hour of consulting time to help determine whether in fact he can be of help and whether he actually believes you have a case that could be won. Do not under any circumstances retain an attorney without an engagement letter and at least some estimate of what the cost will be. There's actually no way to tell from your question whether this is a blatant breach of contract or something a little more difficult to determine. Good luck
