I had chose 5/3 because there was a branch right near the college campus I attended. At first, I really appreciated this bank and they seemed to really be great. Then I noticed that each time I went to the teller, they were always trying to sell me something. A credit card, a line of credit, or a personal loan. It got very frustrating because I did not want to buy anything from them. I didn't want to be "sold" on something just because I wanted to cash/deposit a check. Finally, I did sign up for what I thought was a type of overdraft protection, but later found out it was actually a credit card that would pull cash from it to cover my overdrafts in my account. I was 19 at the time and didn't really understand, but the teller was so pushy and didn't explain the facts of all the charges I would encounter by doing this. All the teller told me is I wouldn't get the 36.00 overdraft fee. Little did I know about it being a real credit card, with APR % and charges for getting cash from the card. It was a horrible experience and every time I went in to cancel the card, it either never got done when they told me it would, or they said they weren't able to actually cancel it. Unless you wanna be sold to on a daily basis, I would stay away from this bank!
