American Heritage Federal Credit Union Car Loans

Worst credit union ever! I’ve been a customer more than 15 years and they offer skip a pay twice per year on car payments, credit card payments or other loans. I have taken advantage of this the because having only 1 income in these days and times is tough. I processed my skip a pay early June through the mobile app then saw my car payment due date was not moved to the next payment month like usual. I call and they have NO RECORD of my skip a pay request!!!!! Their mobile app is GARBAGE. If you are doing something important DO NOT EVER USE IT! I have processed skip a pay on the mobile app before and everything worked no problem. I don’t know what happened this time but it has never happened before. Not sure if there was a glitch or hiccup that caused mine not to go through but after speaking with a manager they would not honor it! Said they needed the confirmation number or too bad for me!! I cannot wait until this weekend to remove every dime I have in all 4 of my accounts with and be done with this sorry excuse for a credit union! Credit unions are supposed to be better than a regular bank! Actually care about their members! Nothing but rude “Sorry for your inconvenience” and a big OH WELL attitude!!

Forced my wife to pay am extra 300 dollars a month on her already high car payment because she was missing full coverage in the past. They could have notified her when her insurance wasn't meeting the qualifications but instead they waited it out in order to charge her a huge lump some of cash. She either had to pay almost 900 a month for a car or pay 3000 dollars upfront. Terrible .greedy people never again.

I like you because you let us skip a payment at Christmas. I Like you have good customer service and you seem to care about your clients

The car dealership set it all up once I got the loan the CU did contact me and they have been very friendly since then want to setup autopsy and be done with it. Hopefully my last car purchase.

By all means, if you want to jump through ridiculous hoops from rude people just to get simple answers, this bank is the best choice.

AWFUL customer service. I applied for a car loan, application was approved. all of the sudden I go to check my loan status it says declined. I didn't receive a phone call, email or notification. Stay away from this bank. Not to tell you that they don't provide assistance 24/7. If you have any question or concern after 7PM wait for the following day and hopefully someone will be with you shortly.

These people are rude, lie and will threaten you into doing whatever they want. They are bullies and dishonest, they act like they will help you and then start threatening you and saying it doesn’t matter what they originally agreed to because you never got it in writing. The fact that they are dishonest and threaten their customers is ridiculous. They are not there to help anyone. They say you are family, well I would hate to be their family if that’s how they treat them. I would never recommend them to anyone.
