GM finance is a great way and company to get financing from I have had a great experience dealing with them and Gm continues to help me build a better credit score

Do not ever finance your car through GM! My mother made that mistake and then passed away! Doesn’t matter if you have a will or not they will require you to get legal paperwork from the courts! This costs more money and isn’t done at great speed. They will lie to you and then come repo the vehicle! After they repo the vehicle they will send you a letter stating it’s up for repo! Then to get the vehicle back they demand you pay it in full and add ridiculous amount of fees to it. Don’t expect them to call you back either. I’ve been trying for a week to get ahold of them and he just calls me back today on a Friday when I’ve called everyday beginning on Monday! Amazing how no consideration for the loss of a loved one from this corporation. DO NOT EVER FINANCE WITH GM!!!

I received a call from a Theresa on 3/4/2023 in reference to the above mentioned account. Theresa called and asked to speak with my sister and when I informed her my sister wasn’t at my number and what could I help her with. She told me it was a personal business matter so I asked her the company and her name. When she told me she was Theresa from GM financial I said well I’m on the account and before I could finish, Theresa cut me off and said “Unless I’m speaking to a c**pse you aren’t on the account” and hung up in my face. I called back and some how received Theresa and she preceded to lie when I called her out on calling my mom a c**pse. She refused to transfer the call and argued with my sister as well as calling her a b**ch and hung up. I called again and ended up speaking to Carlos in the re-enstatement department. Carlos told me if we paid xxxx.xx dollars and proof of insurance we could have the car back. I promptly made a payment to GM via western union and got ins on the vehicle.

Call to make sure they received the ins and when could we go to the wrecker yard to retrieve the vehicle. And am told we can’t get the vehicle until 7,700 plus dollars are paid. Now GM refuses to give us the car and/or refund my money! GM has officially stolen money from me! I do not have a vehicle or any other financial obligations with GM under my name or social security number. Leo also refuses to give me his supervisors number, give me my money back, or give us my mother’s car back. I have recorded both conversations to cover my bases.

My car was totaled in a no-fault accident on Oct. 2, 2018. I no longer had this vehicle. I've contacted and disputed this creditor many times to have this negative history removed and resolved to no avail.

Great experience buying a new car. Both the sales man, Matt and finance guy Mike were helpful. Just waiting on delivery now. Such a long process.

They reposessed this car Nov 2021, fixed the recalls and have sold it with out me knowing.. this has been disputedand removed now this is the 5th time theyve readded themselves on my report. They are grimey sneaky rip offs that will be suedfor what they are doing to me and I'm sure another of others!

Love GM Finical and they help people like me save money. They refinance my car at a lower interest rate and affordable monthly payments.
