This bank, unlike other lenders, consistently fails to provide borrowers sufficient time to make payments. Our KeyBank loan statements are generated the 1st of the month, mailed the 4th of that month, while payments are due by the 16th. This month, January 2021, our statement hasn't arrived as of the 13th. When my wife called customer service she was told that our choices were to make a payment by phone, which we have never done, or make a trip to one of their locations. Since we don't live near one of their branches, we have to spend an hour at highway speeds to accomplish this task. That drive time and expense are the reason why we mail bill payments. For these reasons, we rate KeyBank's service as poor.

The information given to you on the app about your car loans is misleading at best and completely incorrect at worst. Between struggles due to COVID and misunderstanding the information on the app, my car ended up getting repossessed without warning, as they had never even sent me a letter warning me that my car was in danger of repossession. When I called them immediately after the repossession, I was told that they have no proof they sent the letter and that it's not their problem I never got it. In talking with customer service once I had paid off my repossession fees, they brought up the COVID deferment program but said that they couldn't process my application for that program because I wasn't due until January 7. Well then I started to get all these late notices and late fees throughout December and finally called to ask what was going on. I was informed that the CS rep I had spoken to in December had given me the wrong due date, but that all they could do was waive the late fees, and I would still owe two months worth of payments by January 7. The only way I convinced them to defer the payment was through their COVID deferment program. This experience was just the latest in a long line of problems I've had with their CS department, and I will be looking for a new bank to transfer my accounts to.

I can't believe how horrible this bank is. I payed my first payment with a check sent to their Cleveland office which was cashed a day early without crediting the payment to my account. How does that happen in 2020? Now their collections department is calling me every day (even the day before Thanksgiving) 5 days after faxing a copy of the cancelled check to them. This should be unacceptable to everyone. I can't even enjoy driving my new F150. Happy Thanksgiving KeyBank

I just wanted to say this is a bank that *does the right thing*. They had amazing customer service when I was paying off my car loan during a trade to get into a new car. I made some payments before I could stop the auto-pay. They did the right thing and sent me a check for the over-payment. I was a bit surprised, I just feel these days that big companies could get away with keeping that $363, be corrupt and get away with it because it wouldn't be worth making a big complaint or pursue legal action or something, but KeyBank did the right thing, and they were super nice and helpful with their customer service. I had a great experience with them servicing my autoloan. Their website was easy to use as well.

Very unhappy with Key Bank. Be very careful dealing with them. They will repeatedly pull your credit for no good reason and cause it to drop drastically. i started at 50 before dealing with them and ended up below 800 for one car purchase. No other bank had to pull my credit multiple times. I'll never deal with a bank like this again they don't respect the difficulty of dealing with credit companies and just slam your credit. Be very careful.

Its a huge process to get anything accomplished; payments, autopay, paying on the principal. I will never use this bank again. They make it as hard as possible to get anything done. There's a better chance of Hillary Clinton openly supporting Trump than there is of me using this bank ever again.

I have a car loan with this joke of a bank. They have the worst website and the worst policies of all banks I have ever dealt with. No auto payments. Ridiculously outdated website and ability to manage your account on line. Don't use. Avoid at all costs and try any other bank. You'll be glad you avoided them. Losers
