Not a good bank for CD's or opening an account. They renewed my CD without ANY notice or notifications. No calls were made to notify me of any changes. They took all my interest money as a penalty. When i first opened a CD, penalties were never mentioned or discussed. i do not recommend this bank at all.

When you need you money worse, don't count on Investors Bank to get it to you. Terrible at getting your money when you need it. NOT Recommended. The worse thing that can happen is not having access to your money. Needed my money for a closing on a house and they said it could take 5 days for a transfer to be completed. Its been 3 and I'm going to lose the house. We are in 2019 and money transfers are instant all around the world. It took them 1 day to get the transfer into the account when it was first setup and now they are taking 5 to send it back. I asked about sending wire and they said my account did not access to wire money. They are playing with your money, not paying you interest the minute you initiate the transfer and floating your money up to 5 days. This is very bad.

Bad bank for CDs. Renewed without sending notice then charged penalties when withdrawing at a very low interest rate. Ripped off Took an hour to get straight out and try to sell up annuities. Use another bank.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank. I put $$$ in a savings acct to have cash for buying a condo. I’ve had to reschedule my closing because I can’t get the money out. To transfer to another bank takes 3-5 days to link the acct and then it takes 2-3 days to get ACH. They do not do bank wires unless you go to a branch so if you live in another state you’re out of luck. I’ve transfer from 3 different banks with zero issues and all within 24 hours. Oh and it seems if you close your acct before the once a month posting of interest you lose that interest.

This review is for Citizen Access which is owned by Citizens Bank. In short.....STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK ! Opening almost one million in CDs, because of the bank misinformation and outright deceit, has actually cost me a sizable amount of financial loss. Their customer service is completely non responsive and upon trying to contact upper management, which I did with good email addresses was met with silence.
They simply do not care and have a attitude which says “sue us, other than that go away”
I reached out to the COO and the Senior Vice President of retail consumer banking........silence, only a call center rep telling me to go away.

Former Investors Bank CD customer. Bank insults and discriminates against existing customers by offering lower CD renewal rates to existing customers versus "new money". What? My money is not as important to you? Moved my money to Connectone Bank and M&T bank. They were much accommodating and happy to have my accounts. Shame on you Investors, especially management. What idiot came up with that plan. Will tell everyone I can to stay away and will never do business with you again.

I have had this account for a little less than a year and I am satisfied with the experience. While the interest rates are lower than other banks, I have not incurred any maintainance fees or service charges on my account, unlike my previous account at Bank Of America. Overall, the customer support is great at my bank, although this may not be uniform with all other locations. Jason really makes transfers and all other account support easy and painless. Even with the low rates I am still VERY satisfied. Too often banks take advantage of their account holders and Citizens Bank's Saving Account does not.
I had a wonderful experience at my local Citizens branch (in Rhode Island) when I decided to sign up for a Roth IRA. The clerk clearly and thoroughly explained what each of my options were, along with the interest rates and availability for deposit of each kind of account. He helped me select the account that would work best for my schedule, and now I'm able to easily start saving for my retirement. Overall, I was very pleased with the customer service and information I was given, and I'd highly recommend this branch to anyone.

I have had a savings account with Citizen's Bank since I was about 16 years old, along with a checking account. The savings account is easily accessible, along with my checking. I have enjoyed having my savings account, especially for the overdraft features. When you don't have enough funds in your checking account, you can set your accounts up to automatically take from your savings instead of charging ridiculous overdraft fees. I am easily able to manage my account on their website, as well as transfer money in and out of the savings using their transfer tool. Very convenient.

I have held a Certificate of deposit at Citizens bank for about 3 years now. Even though Citizens Bank does not offer the highest rate on a CD they make up for it in customer service. Every time I have went in to renew my CD they are nothing but kind and helpful. When I go in I get to sit down with one of their representatives to discuss my options for CDs and they always try to find a way to get me the best rates possible. They also do not try and sell you something you don't need such as putting all of your money into a long term CD when you want a short term. Overall I would recommend Citizens Bank for their great customer service.
