1st Bank Checking Accounts

I have a checking account with 1st Bank 1st Free Checking. There are no crazy fees to worry about causing your hard earned money to disappear from you account every month. The customer service is alright, I guess they could be better, but really they will help you as much as possible. 1st Bank is a good place to do business with, they are not quite a big bank so they don't try to nickel and dime you like some of the others. You really can't beat that.

Since I have opened an account with 1st Bank 1st Free Checking I have had an awesome experience. I have the benefit of not having to worry about monthly fees and what not with this bank. It is nice knowing that I am not being charged for letting a bank hold on to my money! The service reps that I have dealt with have been nothing but nice and have made sure that I knew everything that I needed to know. The application process was very easy and there are not any hidden complications or fees that become applicable down the line.

My husband and I share a joint checking account at 1st bank 1st free Checking and we signed up specifically for all of their online features. Also, there are no fees associated with this account at all which made it entirely appealing. My husband handles a lot of real estate transaction with different accounts and this is the account we use most for instant transfers to tenant account as we are able to do everything online, even if we are half way around the world. The ease of use is also a selling point and anyone who wants a simple, no frills online account, should apply.

I do online banking with 1st Bank and I must say that it is very convenient. I can direct deposit money into my employees' accounts and manage payroll online 24 hours a day, anywhere I am. I can make loan payments and view all my transactions from the comfort of my home and without having to dig through tons of past paper bank statements. There are not many branches, so if I want to speak to someone in person it is an inconvenience if I am not in the area of their handful of locations. However, being what they describe as a "hometown bank", 1st Bank has its advantages as a customer as far as customer service. I have never had to wait on the phone forever to talk to an actual person and have always found the customer service reps very helpful.
