Capital One Checking Accounts Reviews
What's Your Rating?
I truly wish I could give zero stars. I have been with capital one credit cards for a long time and had no issue. So I thought I would give their checking account a try. Biggest mistake of my life. They have absolutely no banking locations closest 360 ATM is 30 miles from my home. Although the agent said they're atms are all over Georgia. It first started when I tried to use the load cash option at the claimed preferred locations. I literally went to 7 different locations using their tool and every teller stated we are not able to load to Capital one 360 accounts. I spoke with a representative and she was absolutely no help. Then the major is occurred I deposited a payroll check (this is not the first time) with the same payor source as before and they decided to place a 7 day hold on my check. The rep said lets see if we can get some of the funds released to you and came back and said they could not. I ask for them to stop processing my check so I could deposit it into a real bank and they were not able to that either. Thankfully I have some savings so I can pay my rent and purchase groceries for me and my kids. Thanks Capital One 360 for adding to the stress of the pandemic!
