I have been a Citizens bank customer for a little more than four years and I wouldn't think of banking anywhere else. The customer service is beyond excellent. I live in a small town and so I am used to individual, comprehensive and friendly service. I was recently out of town and in a big city when I encountered some banking issues. I was hesitant to go into a big city branch but had no choice as I wouldn't be back to my own branch anytime soon. I was pleasantly surprised to see how small town Citizens Bank was even in that big city. I wasn't rushed and the customer service was on par with what I receive at my home branch. Including the smiles and thanks I got when leaving the bank. I also have had a few bank errors occur in the past and have never hesitated to call in and discuss my account with the bank manager. If they're not available I have always gotten a return call within the hour. What other bank can claim such prompt service? I consistently recommend Citizens Bank to all of my friends and family. I've been banking with Citizens bank for over a year now and I couldn't be more pleased with the experiences I've had so far. When it comes to banks I've always been very skeptical with what they advertise, promise and promote. Like "Totally Free Checking" and the "Best Customer Service". Every bank I've used in the past has always preached about those things but when it came to it they have always failed to deliver. So when I decided to join Citizens I was expecting to have the same sort of experiences. Well I was completely wrong with my assumptions. The "Totally Checking" they advertise is just that, 100% Totally Free Checking. No hidden fees for not using your ATM card enough or a fee for talking to an living, breathing human bank teller, fees for ordering checks when I run out, nothing just what they promised!
The customer service at my local branch that I bank at is by far the best in the business. The tellers remember my name and treat me like I actually matter to them. Even when I've had to deal with customer service at the 800 number I've been treated great and they have always solved my issues quickly and efficiently.
All in all I'm more than satisfied with my decision to join Citizens Bank and look forward to continuing banking with them for a long time to come.…show more
I have been a member of this institution for a better half of my life, 16 years. I’ve been a member of 5 branches over that time. The tellers and loan officers have always been friendly and fruitful with information regarding any of my banking needs from my checking account to a car loan and personal loan. I am also extremely pleased with their customer support available by phone. Their system is easy to use and once you reach an operator, they are always helpful and direct you to the right place. The only thing I wish my bank had was a smart phone application. You can access everything through a mobile browser, but it would definitely make my life easier.…show more
I recently opened a new checking account at Citizens Bank. The bank I was using prior was riddled with inefficient practices and poor customer service. Fortunately, I'm pleased to say that Citizens Bank is the complete opposite. At first, I was concerned as I completed the application process. It was overly confusing, making me wonder how legitimate the bank was. However, when I took my questions and concerns up with the bank, they were all quickly and pleasantly taken care of. The level of respect one is treated with at Citizens Bank is astounding. Any and all difficulty I had with the application process was immediately offset by the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. As far as bank operations go, they were clear on their policies, and have been nothing short of efficient and fair with me since my business there started.
