They made a mistake calculating my account balance and charged me a triple courtesy fee for one transaction. I called numerously to do the math with them and they consistently dodged the error, telling me that I ‘simply did not have enough funds’ when I can clearly see that I did... EECU is a scammer!
I've held onto my EECU account for years even after I've left Fresno. I absolutely loved their service and dependability. I never had a problem with anything, and they were very helpful to help me with my needs in going abroad. I would highly recommend this credit union, over any other in the area. With the many branches located around Fresno, it just makes life so much easier. I find them much better than any bank.…show more
Overall I could not be more personally satisfied with EECU. It is by far the most customer friendly bank in the Fresno area and has multiple locations along with dozens of EECU ATMs strategically placed around town. The overdraft service has saved me a few times more than I would like to admit. I love the fact I really just don't have to think about my banking situation, with EECU, everything is right there when I need it.…show more
Well, I already wrote about other things with Educational Employee Credit Union. Today it is about my checking. The fees are so minimal it is amazing, they have been very helpful when I had any issue with cards, or fees I rejected. When I call, whether people at the branch, or people online, I always get help, I do not have to wait for hours on the phone. Online its at any hour, I found that feature extremely helpful. I get emails all the time according to my preferences, I always know what I have on my account, which makes things very easy with budgeting. There are a ton of great features that come with the checking account, like calculator, like budget systems, like overall debt ration across all your accounts, tips, gifts and so forth. I definitely like this bank out of all those I used before, from great branches to little credit unions. Recently I tried the check drop over the phone feature, and that is awesome, super quick and easy to do. I don't know about the safety, but so far I've had no issue. The cards come on time. One time they found a breach in the system, and they replaced all of our cards right away which makes you believe that your stuff is well protected...That's just a great bank.…show more
EECU is a fantastic local credit union here in the Valley. They always treat me with respect and a smile. I especially love their mobile app and the ability to deposit from my mobile device. If you need a credit union in the central valley, this is the place to go to.
I have been banking with Educational Employees Credit Union for about 2 and a half years. I have to say this is the best bank ever for checking or savings! I had no issues. The employees are quick to satisfy needs of customers. Even if you do not have time to actually go to the bank you can go to their website which is www.myeecu.org and use the online chat tool. I used it serval times and the wait is small about less than a mintue. The application process is very simple and easy however I recommend going in the early mornings to take care of business or you will have to wait in line for a while but their are televisions to keep you occupied. One last thing I want to mention is that this bank does not charge fees compared to the other banks I was interested in. Nice APR on loans too! I love it!…show more
I've been banking with EECU for 20 years now. My first account was a checking account that I had gotten when I was in high school. I still have that account today. Since then, I've had multiple loans (personal, car, computer, etc.) with them as well as additional checking and savings accounts. They've always been helpful resolving any issues that I've had and I haven't had to spend much time on the phone waiting to talk to a real person. The lines in the branches haven't been too long either. Their loans have been flexible and have had good interest rates and they've been understanding if I needed to miss a payment or make a late payment when I've talked to them. As long as I'm still living in the area, I'd like to continue banking with them. I'd also recommend them to any of my friends or family.…show more
I became a member of the EECU when I was in college and had no credit history in my name. EECU really helped me feel financially secure and offered me great benefits in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and lower fees for financial services. I got a Starter/Student Visa Card which was a low-cost credit card having no annual fee and it was perfect for me those days. Their checking accounts are also free and pay dividends when balances are over $500. Their free computer banking and free online bill pay service makes it very convenient to manage my account twenty-four hours a day, pay my bills, transfer funds, make loan payments and receive electronic account updates and monthly statements. With this Credit union I have always felt that they really understand my financial needs and accordingly provide me with quality financial products and services.…show more
I have been with EECU for about 12 years now. They always have convenient ATMs, either one of their own or one that is a part of the co-op. They blocked my visa card before I even realized someone had stolen the number and was charging to it. They have always been helpful and courteous whenever I have gone into one of the branches or called on the phone. Once I accidentally overdrew my account by a couple dollars, and they reversed the non sufficient funds fee! They are a great bank, and I have not for one second regretted switching from B of A.…show more
