Most unreliable ATM network of any bank I've used. Branches in Aurora and Arvada regularly have ATMs that are out of order. The ATMs found in some King Soopers are often broken as well. I'm truly shocked how unreliable they are, it's baffling. I've been pleased with the rest of the service they provide. The lack of ATMs is so inconvenient though, it makes life noticeably more difficult if you're a busy person like me.…show more
Terms of accounts are regularly changed without informing the account owners, resulting in monthly fees appearing from no where. If you're going to open an account here, plan to obsessively review each statement's fine print. I will not do business with this bank again.
You guys suck balls!!!! Worst bank ever. Your customer service sucks rude people and when you deposit a mobile check even though they said you will receive in 3-5 hours these mofos aren't giving it to me til 3 days later. Go F yourselves first bank.
Been with FirstBank for 20 + years, just learned that raised their business checking minimum to $1,000. Not only I don't get interest on that money (which I understand this is a standard checking account) but I also get penalized for using it $12 if the minimum falls below $1,000. So, what is the point of having a checking account if I can't use the money to pay my bills, or if I use it I get penalized on my own money. I would not recommend Firstbank at all, a company called Lexington law debited my account for $129.00, I didn't give them permission to do that, so I called Firstbank and disputed the money, of course they said it was still pending and I had to wait until it hit my account, I didn't even have the money to cover the 129, the bank charged me $34 for an overdraft. The Bank gave me a credit for it but then Lexington Law turn around and sent the credit back so now the bank took their credit back now I still got to pay the 129 it doesn't make sense to me I was trying to prevent my bank from having to pay and extra 129 so now they turn around and gave it back to me which is unfair, I am so overdraw my account right now my check would go all to it. I understand if I overdraw and they pay for it, I am responsible, but doing this to me, if they just stopped it right away, I am still responsible for an amount that I tried to stop in the first place, do not get first bank at all.…show more
I haven't had everything happen perfectly here, and by that i do not mean ive bounced checks, overdrawn my account or been charged excessive fees. [email protected]$, I MEAN... life and stuff happen. But everytime i go into a branch or call them... it's spot on. They have always provided me what i need, when i need it, with a smile which is damn rare now. Im pretty satisfied and never have a doubt that i will be courteously taken care of. I will admit i was reluctant to open an account here after my experience with banks in general as a teenager 20+ years ago. But after 7 months, i really have no complaints. It's been a pretty good experience and in this day and age.... customer service??? What the what...??? Yes please! Only wamu was better, but apparently that didnt work out. If you plan on opening a checking/savings account with FirstBank, do yourself a favor - DON'T! Reason I say that - If you need to close it, it's a process that takes weeks and they don't inform you of that information. So, stuff goes through and you're screwed! The people they have working for them aren't the sharpest either!!!
very bad experience and had to close the account. 1) they did a hard inquiry on my credit 2) suddenly they imposed a inactivity fees of 10$/month [Seriously ]without communicating through email/mail or phone and which was never communicated while opening the Account 3] When enquired about this , they don't have an answer and they don't even care to retain customers who are closing accounts. Please go with big banks , at least they ll listen.
Soo to start off, the associates that work INSIDE do a great job and are courtesy but they do have there tone with you if you ask them a "dumb" question. First off... no question is dumb when its about your finances, which brings me to the reason leaving this review. YOUR 24/7 CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM are ABOVE AVERAGE FOR AUFUL. They are rude, blunt, not friendly on the phone. They are just not goid at there job and dound like they hate me (the customer) and there life for being there. Please fix this! I will be leaving my brand new bank because if this reason. I went out of my way to just leave this review. RUDE and Judgemental. This has been 80% of the time when I have called.
