I used to love this bank but customer service went down hill fast. They also started playing games with everyone's line of credit that they offer. They arbitrarily change your limit with little notice every few months. They now use a call center in the Philippines and you will have no idea what they are saying when you call. Sadly, I will be switching banks and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere for your banking needs as well.

I seen someone else say it but I’m pretty good with keeping up with the amount of money in my account with other banks and I’m pretty sure with this bank as well. However this bank has a bad habit of taking money out, “putting it back in”, then “randomly” pulling it back out. My account just got overdrafted this way. They’re accounting sucks they’ll wait three months until your account is really low to take out foreign ATM charges just to overdraft your account. It’s a predatory bank and I’m done with them after this next deposit. They’re going to get some money that doesn’t belong to them. I’m mad about it.

WARNING, received fraudulent charges on my Huntington checking account. These were flagged, and Huntington claimed to have locked the relevant debit cards. Three days later, the same fraudulent charges were allowed to go through. Also, Huntington does not block the fraudulent charges in general, they are allowed to go through and then go through a dispute process. So the money is withdrawn from your account even though they know it is fraudulently obtained, and then you have to dispute to get it back.

I’m so very disappointed with Huntington!!! I’ve been with Vibe CU since I was 13 yo, and decided to move to Huntington for the early pay! I recently did a debit card dispute because a restaurant charged me for the wrong order, which the charges were voided while I was at the restaurant. However the next few days I see I was still charged for the transactions. I called Huntington making them aware of what happened, and instead of disputing the charge they closed my account!!! I’m not able to get to the money that’s in my account. I have three children and now I’m trying to figure out how to get through the week. Not because I don’t have any money but because my account has been shut down. Today, I went into a local branch and was told I’ll have to wait until a cashier’s check arrives via mail!!!! I am frustrated to tears!!! My Zelle is also shut down so I can’t send my money out to someone else to run to the ATM for me!!!!

I was recommended to Huntington and thought it would be a good place to bank at but boy was I wrong. I've had 2 over draft fees because they take money out put it back in then take it out days later randomly. Account information isn't up to date and accurate. My account will say one thing when in reality the numbers and figures I'm looking at isn't accurate.

I tried not to feel bad about TCF leaving but Huntington gives me cause to be unhappy that TCF is gone: Every time I call Huntington they have revamped their site so now I don't just easily check my balance but I have to talk to a human to find out. I called Huntington 5 times Thurs, and the issue still isn't resolved. Also while i am venting tell your phone people to speak up and not sound like you have a mouse you are talking too. I got a n ew debit card and it just doesn't work properly but just try to resolve that with someone who evidently isn't thoroughly trained and hasn't mastered the English language. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. In my mind Huntington sucks Time to give US Bank a whirl or Wells Fargo but Wells is a loser too. So lastly quit with an horrible green paint that you must have gotten at a Kmart clearnace sale HAVE A NICE DAY

I’ve been banking with Huntington for about three months now and family members whose banked longer and it seems as if no one qualifies for any of their promos! Glad I haven’t closed my Bank of America account cause it doesn't seem like I’m staying.

Do NOT bank with them and if you decide to, do NOT ever need to change your # cause they will legit tell you they can't help you cause they can't "verify" you. I changed my number 1 MONTH ago and then had an issue with my debit card and called and they literally told me they couldn't do anything for me cause my number recently changed and they couldn't verify me even though the automated system found my acct with my new number, huntington called me on my new number, and they asked for all my info fob, ssn, address and still said they couldn't help me. Now MY money is being held hostage cause I have no debit card to use. Oh and the branch ppl will tell you they can't help and will refer you back to calling in. I have the phone call recordings. This bank is a joke and a hassle and I can guarantee you will have at least one issue with them.

Just an aboslute headache all around. My money is always on hold for some reason unless I have absolutely nothing pending. An account with well over 2k every 2 weeks should not be "on hold" because of a pending $9 charge for a regularly occurring subscription. I paid my rent? On hold. I pay a bill? My money is all tied up again. Any purchase over $100 they go ballistic and my money is all locked up until the charge clears. Customer service is barely there. They offer to call you back but I tend to just stay on the line for some uninterested customer service rep with poor listening skills to mangle my phone number again so I end up missing any fraud alerts. The did this to me last month. I called, they had me verify my identity by number, they put the WRONG number, and when I was supposed to get fraud alerts, they were sent to that whole other number and I couldn't reply to them so they suspended my entire account. An email would have been nice instead of just suspending my entire account. Due to these suspensions and holds I've had to just keep this as a place holder account where my jobs paychecks are deposited. From there I just Venmo whatever I have into a whole separate account that doesn't keep me on hold. It's not cool living in a small town with no transportation when I need to hurry home and can't pay for an uber but instead have to PRAY a rep will pick up and unlock my stuff for me. It's the SAME charges, every month, WHY is this so hard? Rent on the first, bills that first week, subscriptions mid month, yet, without fail I find myself developing an anxious dread anytime I have to use my Huntington card to pay for anything in case it's once again, declined. I spend the few days before payday terrified of spending a dime in case they somehow lock my stuff up right as my work income deposits are supposed to hit. Once I save up enough of a cushion I'm leaving.
