Listerhill is a good small town credit union, that has been behind the times in technology up until here recently. They are just now getting up to speed with their online banking and have recently upgraded their banking system. The banking system upgrade did have a serious impact in that the bank actually closed for 5 days in order to accomplish. This is just an example of one of the negatives of going with a small town or regional credit union instead of one of the big banks. Although, on the flip side their customer service is excellent and they really do a good job of showing they care about you as a customer.
I do all of my mother's banking for her now that she is older and not really capable of taking care of it all by herself. Listerhill Credit Union has been nothing but helpful and understanding of my mother's situation. Their customer service is one of the best in the area. Anytime I have a question, someone is able to answer it with a smile on their face and takes the time out of their other duties to make sure I am receiving good service. I am considering switching to this credit union from the one I am currently using, even though it is a bit out of my way. I would highly recommend this credit union to anyone who is looking for GREAT customer service and a GREAT banking experience.
I have been banking with Listerhill for about 5 years now. Since then, I have had nothing but good things to say about the Credit Union. In the rare occasion that I have had problems with my account, all it took was a quick call and the charge was quickly rectified. I still keep an account with Listerhill through the Credit Union linking service that makes it very convenient to work with an institution that I really appreciate and enjoy working with. All of this, on top of their easy to use web tools that make it really easy to avoid having to use paper statements, which I hate, along with the great customer service makes me proud to be a member of Listerhill.
I have been using Listerhill Credit Union since 2005. I have had the absolutely the best experience using this credit union. I have been extremely satisfied with every interaction I've had in every branch of the bank I have visited. Every teller I've used has been extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to meet and exceed my expectations of the bank. Every problem that I've had with my account or credit card, that I have obtained through the credit union, have been met with top tier problem resolution skills. I would be more willing to recommend this credit union to others.
I opened my first checking account with Listerhill Employees Credit Union in 1992, at the age of 18. I am now 39 years old and I am still banking with Listerhill. In all my years as a customer at this credit union, I have always received excellent customer service at Listerhill. I have had one personal loan with Listerhill, and was also extremely satisfied with the servicing of my loan at Listerhill. They worked quickly to get my loan approved and were happy to answer questions at each step in the process. I would highly recommend this financial institution to all of my family and friends!
