Been with MF for many years and have put up with various issues, but this one will move my business account to another bank. Deposited a $2600+ check in ATM on 5/29 (Memorial Day, so MF closed). After many minutes of non-action from the ATM (processing, depositing, etc), an error message comes up that says " One or more deposit items were unable to be returned due to a technical problem. We apologize for the inconvenience." It then says to input an approximate amount of the check. I input exact amount. Sent an email the same day to my MF banker, who I "thought" would be able to handle the issue, since he had always been able to in the past. Didn't hear back from him on 5/30, so I called him. By the tone of his voice, you could tell he was annoyed at my email, seeking help for an issue with THEIR machine, and he would look into it "when he got a chance". Went to bank on 5/30 and they said they can't do anything because they have NO access to the ATM, What the...., how do you not have keys to access ATM? Banker I spoke with said this has been an issue before (new ATM machines) and it should show up in my account after 9pm on 5/30. Guess what, not there. Go back to MF at 9 a.m.on 5/31, speak to same banker, still can't do anything and will have to send an email to company that services the ATM. Banker would call me when she gets back from her doctor's appointment, if she has heard from ATM company. 2:00 rolls around, so call. I call and she says she hasn't heard from ATM company. Told her this is screwing with my companies payables, again, she said can't do anything about that!!. Get a call back, asking if I have a copy of the check, um no, it's in your ATM for the last 2 days. Give her my customers account number and routing number that the check was cut on, why she wanted that?? who knows, get the check out of the ATM and there is all your answers. stay away from MidFisrt. They don't abide by their slogan. "True to your money" you just can't access it!!

If I could give it negative stars I would. Deposited a payroll check with them for the first time and they are holding funds for 1 week because the check is out of state and I’m a newer customer. Fraud department won’t help.

After 18 Years I'm done. Every time I try to get an issue resolved I get ignored or blown off. If you're not a major business you don't matter. The last 3 years I've been stationed out of state and it only got worse. I've been a Midfirst Bank customer since I was 15 and I'm never going back. They do not care about you, and if you're in the military you matter even less. Literally the most difficult bank I've had to deal with. Second worst, IBC is the worst. DO NOT use midfirst, use literally anyone else. I'm definitely going to warn all my guys stationed here to stay away.

Horrific. Abusive practices included lying at the management levels, denying access to multiple accounts with cash available, active and ongoing senior verbal, emotional, financial and psychological abuse. This bank is headed for CFPB and Treasury scrutiny. This bank must be formally sanctioned for current practices in Arizona market and stripped of banking priveleges if not corrected. As far as the JD Power surveys, I've tried 3x to fill mine in and it each time my comments are erased. Not mobile friendly. We had multiple checking and savings accounts there and tried multiple times to invest through them. Always used wrong addresses and phone numbers to contact us despite close contacts with management at our branch at and investment branch.

Wish I could go lower than one star as I don't feel that this bank deserves even that. where to start, how about the MidFirst app which is impossible to navigate and is just overall terrible the Face ID feature doesn't work along with many other things. next, when you switch to midfirst you are going to have to fill up your gas tank before you leave your house as there is only one MidFirst within a 100 mile radius. everything about this bank is slow their app and depositing cash into an ATM with other banks is instant with MidFirst it's 5 business. Overall this bank is horrible and can't wait to switch back to BofA. if you are considering using this bank please take this review as a caution and save yourself a lot of time as you will be on the phone with customer service at least once a month.

They will find anyway possible to put a hold on your account. I deposited a check that was under $100 and they wouldn’t let the fund be available and they wouldn’t let me cash it with them. They also didn’t make my funds available for days after doing a CASH mobile deposit.

My banking experience with MidFirst has been incredibly disappointing. My company is a small business and we work with a vendor in Bulgaria, which requires payment my international wire transfer. Accordingly I requested an international wire transfer to my vendor for $1025 over a month ago. My vendor claims to have never received it and has asked for a SWIFT document or some type of legal document showing that the money was sent and received.
MidFirst had no problem taking the $1025 from my account, but after weekly requests for verification that it was actually sent and received their manager and Vice President, Jay Kandybowicz, has refused to provide that documentation. With week I will initiate whatever legal remedies that I may have, but it is heartbreaking that this bank refuses to provide this simple document. As a result of their actions I may loose my most important vendor and it is obvious that they don't even care.

This is hands down the worst bank I’ve ever had the displeasure of going through. Customer support isn’t helpful, they transfer you to the wrong lines and won’t tell you who to contact, their banking service online is always problematic, the cashless card service they always promote has never worked for me, and the final straw was the $34 overdraft fee I got for going $1.80 negative from a subscription service for 16 hours before I added money to my account. If you are in Arizona I promise you that any other banking service is better to go through than this poor excuse of a bank!

Worst banking experience of my life. I would never suggest this bank to anyone. They are little con artist. I closed my bank account and the teller told me to make sure that I change all my automatic bill payments because if I didn't they would automatically reopen my account and create a charge. So, I did this and then I received a check that got sent to this bank and they wouldn't reopen the account. I do not understand how a bank could reopen it because of a charge that they could just decline, but they won't reopen it for a check coming in. Also, this bank always gave me headaches to get my own money out of the account. Worst Experience ever!!
Do Not Use This Bank Ever!!!
