They advertise that they support Samsung Pay yet after calling Samsung and digging into this issue in-depth they say it is not true and maybe they plan to support it in the future. Funny how a "trusted financial institute" opens falsifies product offerings to entice new victims...
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered in a credit union. Five days after reporting my debit card lost, transactions were still being cleared. I was offered "sincere apologies". Sincere apologies don't help when all my money is gone. Have been with Midflorida only a few months, but will be changing over to a different cu very soon.
This is the worst, I mean the WORST bank I have ever dealth with in my 40 years of life. I closed my account today after trying to deposit my check from my employer. The teller wanted me to go back home and get my check stubb. They had my wrong employer in the system, someone I never evn heard of. They put $40.00 into my account that was not my money. They blamed this on their new reader system that they have, is what I was told today. The teller told me that the reader will not read account number and deposit number correctly. She told me that the computer thinks that a number 1 is a 7, number 3 is a 9 and so on and so on. WHAT? I said to her. I said oh hell no, I am closing my account right now. I opened my account July of 2017 and had problems since day 1. Unprofessional people, I don't care which branch you go too they are all the same. They put holds on every deposit and your treated like is a pain in their booty to help you. Don't call the so called "Help Desk" because they are just as stupid as the people working in the branches, they will tell you anything and talks out of the side of their mouth jibber jabbing making up stuff. If you have a problem they will talk down to you like you are a liar. Think twice people before you open an account here!!!…show more
I recently moved from WellsFargo to Midflorida using their invective program and so far I love it. When calling wellsfargo, I had to wait on the line and was never directly helped on my problem. It was always turning into a can we sign you up for this or that. The first day I opened my account at MidFlorida, I was given a business card and email. They were spot on with customer service. Your calls and emails are returned very quickly. My only downside is I have to start with one of their basic accounts. Other than that it has been a great experience.…show more
I am a former member of Midflorida but was a faithful member for over a decade. They were much better when they were a smaller company, but it seems as they got bigger their services (particularly customer service) got worse. I moved banks because I was sick of having to repeat my problem and have fees removed for things I should never have been charged. Everyone I know who has had Midflorida for years (decades even!) including my mother and grandparents have moved on. They used to be the best bank I could imagine and now they are too big to offer capabilities and service at the same levels.…show more
I have been a MidFlorida customer for over 10 years, starting back when I was in middle school and used their Gator Checking. They're a very hometown oriented bank and are super friendly and helpful to anyone who walks in their doors. Any issues I've ever encountered (like over draft fees), they're quick to help me and try to resolve my problem. Their drive thru hours are the best! Open 7-7 every week day...no other bank will have that! The service at the drive thru is always pleasant and quick. I make sure to bring my dog because he gets a free treat :) Make sure you stop in on Fridays to get some delicious popcorn from the lobby!…show more
Midflorida is a great place for all your banking needs. The tellers are extremely helpful and supportive, and are very professional. As soon as I walk in, I am greeted warmly and offered help. It is extremely easy to set up a checking or savings account, and a debit card is provided instantly. It is also very easy and fast to get a credit card, and the interest rates are great! Whenever a seemingly suspicious transaction is made from your account, a Midflorida representative will call you and let you know, to make sure you have not had your information stolen. I joined MIDFLORIDA Credit Union seven years ago and had a great experience with them. I would use the Sebring, Florida branch. One of the best things about MIDFLORIDA is that their drive-through is open until 7pm Monday through Friday. This was ideal because I would get off work around 6pm. They stay open later for the people who do work during the day and who need to go to the bank after work. My checking account with them was free and I never paid any fees to have it. This is a plus because when I banked with normal banks like SunTrust and Wells Fargo if I didn't have direct deposit they would charge me a monthly fee. The people at the Sebring branch were always very professional and very nice. I never had a complaint about them and love their services. I highly recommend MIDFLORIDA to anyone who is eligible to join them.…show more
I actually have 8 different accounts with MidFlorida. I primarily do all my banking online and getting set-up with them to create all those accounts was a snap! Of course there is a lot of initial paperwork, as it is with any bank, but they really try to make the application process simple and painless as possible. I have only ever had to call customer service about three times to ask a question or ask for help with something and each time they have been very quick to answer and they have always solved my problem. I started banking with Midflorida about three years ago. When I opened the account, the banker fully explained all the disclosures and helped me quite a bit with my application. I’m extremely proud to call them my bank. They really do a great job taking care of their customers. The free checking and savings account I have provide me with easy access to my finances via their online banking. Any time I have a charge that the bank considers suspicious, they promptly call me to make sure everything is okay. Midflorida also has provided me with a very reasonable credit card with a $1000 limit to help me build my credit, since I had none before I started banking with them. It is easy to keep track of my statements and to make payments online. They process my direct deposits and my checks quickly and my money is always available right away.
