New Peoples Bank Checking Accounts

Unfortunately, New People’s Bank allowed a forged check to be cashed when the perpetrators, who have an account at the same branch, presented the document to be cashed into their account. They did NOT take any responsibility for cashing that check. We have had problems on and off before that. They closed our account without notification to us and when a refund was processed to our bank card, they said they never got it. PayPal sent us info to dispute that fact. Our opinion is run far away from that bank as quick as possible. They are not professional bankers.

I have been with New Peoples Bank for over a year now and have been completely satisfied. The company doesn't charge any fees to open a checking or savings account. I also do not get charged any fees each month for having my account. With other companies, I have had to pay to keep an account but with New Peoples I can have as little as a penny in my checking account and/or my savings account without worry. I only had to have a nominal amount of money to open my accounts.

New Peoples bank makes it easy to use online banking. My mobile app shows how much money is in my checking and my savings account and I can transfer money between the two accounts with a few clicks of a mouse or a few taps of my smartphones screen. I also have access to free checks, free banking online, free statements online, and free debit cards.

New Peoples bank prints debit cards on site which is quite convenient. I didn't have to wait days or weeks for a debit card to come in the mail. My debit card was in my hands. When my purse was lost, New Peoples bank froze my accounts for me and they printed me a new debit card onsite with no fee to me. They have been truly amazing, friendly, and have excellent customer service. I will continue to use them.
