I have been with this credit union for 34 yrs and received a returned check I deposited stating for deposit only which my wife has always done. Charged me a fee then upon taking it back was told they would be putting a 5 day hold on it. Talked to a representative told him my concerns with some other issues, explained I would be leaving if they didn't fix this. I was told I was being stupid, so now forget them.

The customer service rep named ***** told me if someone takes any amount of money out from your account without your permission because they have compromised your account and obtained your banking account number and your email that "it's your problem" and they are not insured to place the money back and said its "your responsibility" twice.. She said even with a police report... Wow...I said that's why I don't keep my $50,000.00 in a pen air account . She was very negative and kept saying sharply "No ma'am" No Ma'am. ". I asked to speak to a supervisor to double check on this and she said they were all on the phone and to wait, then she came back and told me to wait again, then she came back to me again and said they all went home.. When I called back another rep answered, and I just asked to speak to a supervisor kindly if one is available because I wasn't happy with a rep.. she wanted to be nosey and then asked me "do you know the reps name?" I said "yes... " I then asked her again kindly if I can just talk to a supervisor.., she goes "what's her name"? I find these reps very toxic . Extremely toxic . I will never keep my big money here, just turn check deposits and clear them out asap. I don't think they care . There's nothing like listening to someone happy to give you bad news and another toxic one after another . crazy

I have coutesy pay on my account which i hardley use but the two times i have tried to use it which was doing the holidays it declines ehicj is embarrassing especially if i call the day before and ask my limit and have well over 1000 bucks i can overdraft but they are a joke and try to make decisions on my business account based off of my personal just because i hardly spend any money out of my personal which i told them that it shouldn't matter it is 2 totally separate accounts smh they need better management team

the following is the experience I had:
Very poor customer service. It is really sad when you penalize a veteran who is a member of the credit union for not utilizing your financial institution as their primary bank. You pull my credit report without my authorization, and site utilization as a concern? I have a checking account and a savings account. If I was trying to screw you I would have done it a long time ago. You are a credit union affiliated with the military. Many of your members do not reside in Pensacola. You revoke access to online banking and tell me all transactions will need to be conducted in the branch? By doing this you obviously should not be affiliated with the military because not everyone can walk into a branch. So I closed my account because it's pointless for me to have it. Your representative was more than happy to do it, and was quite snide while doing so. You are supposed to be about your members? Clearly not when you treat people this way. The sad part...My account was in good standing, and I still was treated this way. I will make sure EVERYONE I know hears how Pen Air treats people.

I love Pen Air. I picked this credit union as it was recommended by a friend. I have not ever been disappointed. The process of setting up a checking and savings account was painless. I have now used the credit union for about 4 years. In this time they have always had friendly customer service when I have visited. The thing that gave me the best impression though was something that could have been horrible. Someone had somehow gotten my card number even though I had the card and it had never even left my presence. They caught it before I even knew there was a problem. They called me and said there was suspicious behavior on my account and asked me if I had made certain charges. I was to say the least a little freaked out. I told them absolutely not. They said no problem we will deny all charges and close that number out and reissue you a new card. They even apologized to me for having to go through this! It wasn't their fault someone can't make an honest living, but I sure am glad they pay attention like they do!
