I originally gave 4 stars. However, for the last 2 months I have had spotty service. App kicking me many times per day. As I have moved hundreds of miles from nearest branch its a problem. If this persists I will be forced to find a new bank.

The checking account through Pinnacle National Bank is exactly as the name describes: Basic. You won't get any additional perks with this account. No interest rates or cash back opportunities. On the plus side, you won't incur typical fees that some banks use. If you need a basic account, just to store your money while you use it, this is the place to go. I would recommend shopping around though to see if you can get account with another bank that will give you something for your business.

I've had an account with Pinnacle for quite a few years now and over the period of this service, I have zero complaints. Their checking accounts are still free; the online banking platform is well laid out and simple to navigate; and the employees are assistance professionals. Pinnacle isn't a huge financial institution, so their ATMs can be sparse in a majority of areas, but this bank is conveniently located about 30 miles away from my home and the internet services are very useful. The employees at the closest branch to me are extremely friendly and goal oriented.
