i don't usually buy into this idea it really feels so real ,i have a lot of unwanted collections , mortgages ,charged off accounts and unwanted collections on my credit reports causing me a lot of heartbreaks. i have been deprived of many benefits ,it makes my score go down to 420 .i don't know what to do until i came across dejatech007 AT GMAIL . WORST FUCKING BANK IN THE WORLD. DO NOT BANK HERE. terrible terrible experience. lost my card and it took over a month to get a new card. worst customer service ever - hung up on me multiple times when trying to order a new one. I would give no stars if possible.
Worst bank ever! I was double charged at a restaurant and still haven't gotten my $20 back. I make over 100k a year you think they would want me to continue banking with them but nope horrible service and I'm going to another bank.
I will give 3 stars, I have my direct deposit account with this bank but I will move it to another bank. My 2 negative stars are for the followings 1) These branches don't have drive through ATM, if you come ATM night you have to park far from the ATM and to walking to do the transactions, in any other banks you don't need to get out of your car to use the ATM. 2) En the last and most important observation, is that they have a rule how to pay overdraft and is the following: Some over draft or all overdraft. This rule is bad to customers because most of the time they pay 20 or 30 dollars overdraft for insignificant things that you don't care to pay and because of this the charge overdraft fees for 35 dollars, but when you have something important for 500 or 1000 dollars like your mortgage, then they don't pay it, and they still charge you the 35 dollars for none sufficient funds fee. I am not happy with this bank that I asked them to not pay any overdraft they their regulations don't acept my request. Or you pay the other draft that I want or pay nothing, don't come to me paying 20 dollars overdraft and charge 35 overdraft fee while my mortgage was not paid that is a real need.…show more
Worst bank. Customer service is of little to no help! Most recently (like today) , I have given Santander Bank US one last try . I recently needed a new bank card and the only way I could it expedited was to pay a $30 fee . I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and there was NO willingness to waive the fee or even try! First time I needed a card expedited. Totally beyond frustrated with Santander! This company has employees working for them that Lie right to your face! As a new customer to this bank, Ryan Clark(Relationship Banker) told me when I opened an account at this bank that I would get $150 promotional bonus during their first time opening an account offer with them. I explained that I was receiving disability as I am disabled and so when I changed my direct deposit it would be a three month waiting period before my government check would go into the new Sandtander account I was opening. I explained to him that this could possibly cause a problem with the money being in the account in time for the three month window for the promotional requirements. He said it would not matter and not to worry because I had a deposit of $2000.00 put in the account signing up. He reassured my concerns by telling me that he would do what ever had to be done and push it through so I would still receive my promotional bonus. I have visited him several times asking why I still didn’t receive it after the time came and went that I was supposed to and he told me he couldn’t do anything about it. At this point I’m extremely angry for all the inconvenience and him telling me that I had to call the Sandtander Exective Office (Emily Bangura)my self to see why. They told me they would look into it and then sent me a letter stating that I did not qualify for the $150.00. My blood is now boiling and I would never advise anyone to ever do business with a company that does not honor their word. worst bank in the world the customer service dont know anything their system when i called the custer service lied to me i could take out $1800 at once from a atm they are clueless plus they have the highest atm fees if your on vacation on the west coast since they dont exist there they do have branches in Mexico but its a total different system its like being in a total different bank.
All banks in the world except Santander you can call and block a specific vendor with Santander thats impossible if a vendor over charges you and you dispute it with santander the customer is always WRONG you will never get the money back plus if you add your money and minus your charges you will see they steal all the time.
I have been with this bank since the beginning. Even way before that as this institution has acquired my bank. I been in my branch office for over 20 years and when it was acquired by Santandar it has to be the worst of all. Why is it when a new debit card is needed it takes forever to get? This bank does not issue new cards in the bank like many others I know. It is my money and I have been waiting 7 days for a new card. I want access to my money when I need it. I don’t want to have to keep running to the bank for cash cause they cannot get a new debit card to you in a timely fashion. Santander bank has been terrible. Fees for everything. And they do not honor what they say on their website. Specifically that incoming wire transfers in a foreign currency are not subject to the $13 charge. Manager told me that the website was incorrect...in BOTH places.
Santander bank SUCKS!! OMG, I made a deposit of over $400. A check hit for $180. They charged me $35 because my deposit wasn't available. I called the customer service line and was told that $200 is available. So I tried to explain that if $200 was available, then why charge me when $180 is under $200? She said, oh no, I meant $200 was available for cash the next day. BUT $100 is available same day. I was asked at the bank if I wanted cash from my check. So I could have deposited $200+ and received $200 in cash, then deposited the cash to cover the $180 check that hit. She said no, that cash wasn't available the same day. WHAT???? Bank of America allows me $300 INSTANTLY no matter what I deposit. They wouldn't even give me courtesy refund for the $35 since this is the first time it's happened.
