My husband and I have been customers of Community Financial since 2011. We currently have a joint checking and joint savings account through the credit union. The application process was simple enough, we were out of the office with the accounts opened and no problem way back then, and they have continued to service us up until the present. I have recently opened an account with Armed Forces Bank, as their online website and mobile banking apps fit my needs much more than CFCU does. We've established a relationship with those here, so we keep our accounts open, but primarily bank with AFB now.

I originally moved to CFCU from BOA because my family has been in the dairy business for a few generations and my father and grandfather have both used CFCU because of their roots in the farming industry. I appreciated how friendly the service was at CFCU. I was also very pleased that this credit union has low or no fees on their checking and savings accounts and that they are FDIC insured. The CD and loan rates were very competitive for the current market. I feel secure having my money invested with CFCU and I have had a few of my friends join as well. My only complaint is that the credit union is not well known and that there are not many branches, if any, when I travel.
