Horrible service, rude call center! I consistently have fraud issues on my account and they do little to assist and almost refused to give me my money back. Switching banks as we speak! Don’t waste your time getting an account here.

Someone stole my check from USPS mail, crossed out the original $18 amount, wrote in $4800 and deposited through ATM. WSFS released my money to the criminal. Their security department passed that check as valid. WSFS refused to give a provision of credit and return my money. The are still investigating a clear fraud. It's been more then 90 days now. My next step is sue the bank. Looks like the only option. Run from this bank.

This bank inherited my checking account from Beneficial bank. When they issued my new debit card, I couldn't activate it because I forgot the PIN since I always use the credit option. NOBODY at WSFS would help. They told me to activate it through an ATM, which is impossible since I couldn't remember the PIN. The one actual human I spoke to referred me back into the activation line which stated that my account was blocked. I couldn't contact another human being, even at the branch office. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I'm looking for another bank so I can close my account. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH WSFS! BIG MISTAKE!!!

Horrible. Somebody gained access to my account in Texas I’m in Delaware.I still have my card in hand no one has access to my account with me. I get a text message from the fraud department I call right up and go into the bank. Five days later still no money back to me. They got almost $3000. No call from the fraud department and I’m told I might have to wait two more weeks to get any money back. It seems as if they could care less.

This bank should be ashamed of itself. I was forced over when Benificial sold to them. I never in my life had a over draft fee. Now all of the sudden I dont go a week without getting one. I'm not the best with money but I never flounder. This bank has been stealing from me and I am sure other hard working people. If a law suit ever happens I will be the first to sign up. Please people make some noise on this. Businesses like this should be closed. Once this covid situation let's up we will be moving our money. WSFS needs to be investigated for theft. I have filed with BBB hopefully they listen.

I miss BENEFICIAL BANK. WSFS bought Beneficial, and it is all about extra charges and reduced services. Every time I call customer service to inquire about a new charge, the rep tells me that she worked for Beneficial "for years" and that she has never heard of the programs that I was enrolled in. First it was automatic overdraft, which never resulted in a charge with Beneficial based on my total account balances with the bank. Now it is a $10 every time with WSFS. Today, I went to order checks and the rep told me that she "worked for Beneficial and they never offered free checks to customers," which was most definitely not true. Later in the same conversation, she told me that if I wanted to enroll in a program with free checks, I needed to do it by March 2019, which was the last time I ordered checks, but the Beneficial takeover happened in July 2019. I hate this bank. I can't wait to transfer my money out of it.

Bank elsewhere! Not only are their policies outdated but they have EXTREMELY high fees and they have HORRIBLE customer service. I very rarely had a good experience when I had to deal with them. I was a long time customer and just assumed that was how it was in the banking world until recently i switched to M&T and the difference is night and day.

WSFS is probably one of the worst banks I’ve had to deal with. I’m a customer that came over from Beneficial & I’m so upset they had to sell to this horrible bank! I have never had as many issues with my checking accounts as I’ve had since they took over. You have to constantly check your online banking before you do any transactions because you think you have money in your account but then you get hit with overdraft fees because something you used your card for two days prior finally hits your account. Unless you have a bunch of money in your account & don’t use it then WSFS is for you. If you’re a regular person that has bills & actually uses your account then steer clear of them!
