Alaska USA Federal Credit Union Credit Cards

I have been with this financial institution for some time now they put me into a truck some years ago I am very satisfied with this institution.

I have been a member of AKUSA since 1980. Over the years l have watched it grow. They have been both generous and flexible over the years and l applaude them for it. However, the last two years have been different. I have had several instances where after ordering items and trying to cancel them without success, because they are from foreign countries ( l did not know when purchased) AK USA has sided with the Chinese merchant. Their policy is, if you made the purchase you must wait until the item arrives then return it. Ok, well, most items are shipped with no return address and the cost to ship back is prohibitive. So, even though you have tried dilligently to cancel and the company ignores your requests, you still havevto receive the package. AKUSA allows 5 days for the charges to clear then 15 days for the merchant to work with you. Therefore, you are out your money for 20 days and probably cannot retun the item. If AKUSA is going to continue to support foreign transactions do you think it fair that they require phone numbers, addresses and a disclaimer on all marketing sites that you are purchaing from a foreigh country, you may not be able to retun the item and you need to know your banks policy prior to pruchase.

Nice people, I have paid my bill on time 14 months in a row. Never late. I wish they would take that into consideration and raise my limit or make it a non secure credit card but they won't, that's why I gave 4 stars

This is a great Credit card, Bank account, Savings account and credit union. I am very happy with this financial institution.

Whenever I call them, for any Concerns, which can be 24 hours a day and seven days a week, I live person is always there to help me.

Great card. Low APR at 14.99%. No annual or monthly fee if member of Alaska USA FCU otherwise $5 per month.

Excellent first credit card and checking account for student. Also has a secured version that can help rebuild credit for the same low rate. Alaska evaluates card status @ 18 months to increase limit or remove secured status.

Rewards points are not so great, but transfer balances are free.

I've had an AlaskaUSA account for about 30 years, so when I decided I wanted a higher limit card to rent cars and stuff with, it was the first place I thought of. The setup process was straightforward and my card experience has been trouble-free. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have read some bad reviews and some great one... In my own opinion, I did not ask for Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. They purchased my banking institution and all accounts were consumed. That being said, from the moment I heard that but of information, Alaska USA has been there every step of the way to help me complete this transition smoothly, and well after, to make sure that I am happy and continue to be happy with the services they provide. I have had a few banks, and accounts. Navy Federal is one I hold true and dear to my heart. But I have to say, Alaska USA is number one in my book. They are truly amazing, down to EVERY SINGLE CSR that I have spoken with and seen over the counter. Even though this was all happening Durning Covid-19, they didn't miss a beat. Still helping, still doing what I've come to expect from a bank of my choosing and honestly way more then I anticipated. 5 stars hands down Alaska USA! Keep up the amazing job

Great bank, just banked more with another bank and had no use for this account. I would if need be bNk again with ALASKA USA. One if not The best local bank

I love this app! It has kept me up to date about my credit score changes! Just love it! Since using this app my credit score have changed and it’s helped me to balance my finances when I should or need to.
