There tend to be a number of different Citibank VISA credit cards available, but we caution consumers against limiting their card search to a particular issuer or network unless there is a legitimate reason for … show moredoing so, such as your favorite store only accepting Visa (note: Citibank is a WalletHub advertiser). Not only should your top priority be to find the best possible account terms, but a credit card’s network only affects the number of locations at which it can be used. Since both Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted in the U.S. as well as internationally, there will be no difference between a Citibank VISA or Mastercard credit card in terms of where they can be used.

I started using the Citibank Visa about three years ago. My mom has a Citibank Visa and she recommender it to me when I was in the market for my first credit card. I use it for things like gas, and occasionally groceries. I pay it off monthly and I think the interest rate is pretty reasonable. I've never had a problem and I would recommend the Citibank Visa to anybody looking for a credit card.
I've owned a CitiBank card for about eight years now. I use it for grocery shopping and buying things online which I do often. It seems like every time I shop I get MORE money to spend. I threw all my other credit cards away because the interest fees were too high and they had hidden annual payments on them which I was not prepared for. With CitiBank I have no interest fees and my bank does not charge me for its use. I also like that you can get free gift cards after spending a certain amount of money over time.
