Freedom Credit Union Credit Cards

Horrible bank that has zero customer service. No one answers the phone, you are left on hold for as long as you are willing to wait but no one answers. They have no way to email them if need be.

I've been with Freedom Credit Union for many year and had some issues, but I just drew a line when the bank personally lied. I recently asked for them to up the minimal amount on my credit. They spoke about how they would need to upgrade my card to the 5% and I could use the old card, and from that day on I would get the 5% back, and when I got my new card I could switch over. So, my amount went up and I was using the old card as suggested. Once I got the new card I didn’t change over right away (1 month). My mother was in the hospital, work is overwhelming, and my Dad had a stroke all in that month. Keep in mind that number is part of my online accounts. Keep in mind also, I spoke in detail over the phone to change my balance and to be upgraded to the 5% and was approved for it and was told I would get the 5% back using the old card. So, today I finally took the time to take care of my personal stuff and I called the bank because there was not 5% sitting in my bank from this whole month that I used the card. I called them, and they told me the amount is incorrect we own you around 193, so they are missing 166 that should have been returned. After, I get a call back from the bank stating I didn’t use the new card, so I only get 1%. So, your saying you raised my amount money and you tell me on the phone that the approval went through and to use my old and I still get the 5% back? I explained that I was told over the phone to use the old card, and you people added the extra to my account and now you want to ROB me of what you OWE me, Seriously!!! So, now I need to cancel my card and change over to another credit union, which is easy for me because my work has one. Talk about a bank that can hurt someone and lie to them!!! Do you think you or I should bank with Freedom Credit Union if they directly lie to someone? Bye Freedom Credit Union. It may take me 3 weeks to get it changed over but I REFUSE to bank with you, I no longer have trust or faith in your services.??
