I've been a member at JFCU for several years. I had a savings account and a visa credit card. I didn't use the card often, usually using cards that offered better rewards. I paid off my card monthly. I used the card in Feb. 2020 and as I have several cards awaited my bill. Of course Covid19 hit, upending our lives. I was so busy with Covid19 related things, I did not realize the JFCU bill never came. So on May 2nd, I get a letter from JFCU that was curt to say the least. It informed me that my minimum payment ($30) had not be received and then cited some rather threateining language about reporting me to to credit burau's and freezing my savings account. On MOnday morning I contacted JFCU and it took talking to 3 different people to even pay the bil. I paid the bill off. I attempted to close all of my accounts and they refused, telling I needed to call back. The next day I called again and did close all my accounts. On May 9th, I got another lettter from a "Senior Collection Specialist" again ththreatening my credit score and telling me I needed to call immediatley. I checked my bannk act and found that JFCU credebited my checking to pay the credit card bill on May 4, the same day the letter was dated.
I've dealt with many banks and financial institutions and JFCU ranks down the the worst.
