Was given a Giftly VISA giftcard for Father’s Day, valid thru 06/27. Spent $41.09 of the $50.00 card. Presented this card with a $8.91 balance to a local restaurant. The Card allowed a $4.00 deduction ONLY. Have been to 4 difference businesses since: 2 restaurants, 1 coffeeshop, 1 Cumberland Farms. Not one of these businesses was able to retrieve the $4.91 balance. We tried DEBIT and CREDIT. These cards are not reliable. Avoid gifting these to anyone.

I am livid on 3/16/20 I took lyft to work by lunch I ordered food card declined tried again card declined just had deposit put on account I live in Texas called metabank said my account went from 1000 to -131 said someone went to target made 15 transactions in Florida physically used my pin now I'm like wait I have my card never been to florida filed dispute lost case will not give me money back so I physically had to fly to florida from texas go to target rack up 600 worth items fly back to texas to be to work at 7am then get off work at 5pm fly back down to florida from texas rack up 400 at publix supermarket cause there is noone in texas get back on plane to make it to work by 7am yeahhh ok due to the physical card and pin used reason wont refund me I have proof at work and physically used my card in texas all on those suspected days purchases were made in florida but metabank reviewd all the charges and said agreed to it so I was in 2 places at same time using same card and swiping in florida and texas at the same time bullll shame on metabank go with a reputable bank I have went back to BOA this will never happen again I will be diligent

I received an email congratulating me for opening an Ace Flare account with Metabank and informed that debit cards were in the mail. I did not open an account, so I called Metabank customer service that I did not have an open account with them and they said that the email was just an offer to open an account. That didn’t sound plausible, but what the heck, they should know what they are doing. I then got an email saying that I had a balance in my account. I Called again and was informed that the wrong email was on the account and they would correct it which they did not. Then I emailed Metababank who said they could not take care of it but I should contact customer service. So much for customer service. Glad I’m not a customer of this bank. Should you be? Good luck!

Company partnership with Ace Cash Express that offers specialty cards but charges rates outsourced their services to third parties over seas that are very hard to communicate with even though that they can validate through their activity and research of sites that are scamming still in people's money unlike other credit card companies that usually issue your refund in 72 hours or temporary credit will continue to hold your money for up to two months as they charge their fees to shortchange the consumer would never do business with them again close my account effective today

What a terrible company! Don't go near them. They issue gift cards that have an expiration date and once it expires, your money is gone...period. I lost $100 because I didn't use my gift card in time...so my $100 is completely gone. I'm sure the CEO of this terrible f****** bank sleeps well at night.

Love my ACE card. Had it 10 years now with direct deposit. They’ve been easy to deal with the two times I thought there had been a mistake. It was my mistake but they were very patient and polite.
I couldn’t open a bank account when I got the card because a ah had used my SS number and died. As far as the banks were concerned I was deceased. I tried to get them to check my pulse or put a mirror up to my lips. The banks weren’t amused. They said I needed to straighten it out with Transunion as they were the ones that reported me dead. I went to ACE out of desperation. Best money move I’ve ever made! They did the work to check identity information sites and found out who the dead guy was, reported the info to Transunion, and gave me a card. I would never part with it. My
monthly Veterans disability payment is directly deposited and in ten years, no glitch.

Was given a gift card. To this day nothing has worked. I called to get more information and found no way to use the card. If your giving a gift and your gift is meant to be a good or happy gift. Don't use this card it's a waste of money and causes a lot of frustration.

I would give this company a 0 star if I could.
My daughter bought a pair of shoes online, and threw away the gift card she used to purchase. We then had to return the shoes and since I had one of these gift cards in my wallet from a gift, I put the return on there so my daughter could use it for something else.
BIG MISTAKE.
Since the shoes weren't purchased on this card, they flagged the account and blocked not only my original gift card amount, but the return amount. I have done everything they've asked for...copies of original receipts, return receipts, etc. but they still wont give me back my money. They are a theiving scam!

I have a NetSpend Visa debit card. My social security gets direct deposited monthly for three years now. I have never had a problem. I am promptly reimbursed whenever over charged. Customer service reps have always been very curtious and helpful.

So I was supposed to be paid monday here it is Tuesday at 10:pm and still no money i am on dissability and use the rapid pay card do to metabank's error i am starving and maynot survive this night i habe not eaten since Friday morning i feel weak and faint please metabank put my money on Or else i may die at 29 help just help please help I need to eat why are you doing this are you not aware it is fraud and theft your friendly Neighborhood Dying lient Sacramento California's Own poor broke Starving punk Kid Keash Aka Connor Mc.Mannus
