Golden 1 Credit Union Credit Cards

Customer Service is horrible. Since they put their name on the ARENA it seems they cant afford to HIRE any tellers or help. My recomendation is to stay away.

I just like Golden 1, they always keep me posted on any bad transactions, You have a grace of 10 days to pay your credit card. They always call you if you miss a payment.

This is by far THE WORST bank I have ever dealt with. Their customer service has been far from helpful and completely rude. They are not answering my questions they are saying you have to get ahold of the "back office" but will not tell me how to contact them. They allowed me to transfer some of my money but I never received it into my account and now they're not giving me any info and they're saying I have to call my other bank where the money was transferred even though that bank has no information on the transfer. If I could leave a zero star review I would. If you want to lose your money, deal with terrible customer service, and not be able to access your funds then this is the bank for you.

Hours are horrible for customer service and mobile app is Always Down! Lines are horribly long with slow, lethargic employees at the banks.

Although I've had my account with Golden1 for approximately 26 years, they have never done me any credit card or loan favors since I've been with them. Recently they wasted my time at the Elkhorn Blvd branch in Sacramento by scheduling me an appointment to come in so they could notarize a document for me, and then refused to do so when I arrived because they wanted me to pay them for this service that is free to everyone who has an account with other banks. Wells Fargo has done numerous notaries for me for free without even having an account with them. The woman had the nerves to involve her worthless manager in the conversation who backed up her no-good customer service stating they wouldn't provide the service for free. I walked out and continue to make my major deposits with BofA who doesn't mind overwhelming their customers with great free services, including money added to your account for shopping at certain stores.

Golden1 Credit Union has great customer service and lower interest rates than banks. I highly recommend it over average banks.

I’m very upset at the way I was treated today at the Fresno golden 1 ( fig garden branch) they have the best employee, an I’ve been going their since I got out of the miltary ( over 20+ yrs) well today I wanted to diposit a few hundred dollars in my wife act. I had her info an a California I.D. This employee ( karren), has given other patrons a hard time at the window because I’ve noticed it in the past and today she decided to give me one. She insisted on looking at my personal account before I put money into my wife’s account and I kept asking him why she doing this to me. There is no need if I have cash and my wife’s account information. So she took my California ID underneath the window and started typing in my personal information to get my account info .. I was highly upset. An another employee walk k we an stated , I will talk to her later about this. I told her she was wrong , an I will file a complaint. The corporate office agree with me and I’m now waiting on a letter in response to my complaint. I will remove myself my wife and my son from the bank if the situation does not get taken care of and Karen gets re-trained and dealt with. Period. So humiliating and so embarrassing to cause a scene and hold me up like that. Thank you for your ears.

Decent card & good limit :) so you do end up getting some credits back. Although the cash advances will really get ya both ways… Good Luck & Thank You!

Golden 1 credit union has been the worse bank to deal with. As Trustee of an estate they have done whatever they could do make a difficult time during the pandemic more stressful and add additional heartache. Seems no one knows what they are doing, managers in “member cate” dept never return phone calls. No follow up. Lack of communication, bank training and customer service! Would NOT recommend
