WEX Credit Cards

We have been Sunoco credit card users for decades, my wife and I. Since last summer, we have had 5-8 fraudulent charges, all for diesel fuel and for quite a bit of money. Each time, they credited the account and sent new cards. When asked what they were doing to catch the person responsible, our question was totally ignored. It’s very frustrating to have someone steal from you, and nothing is done to prevent the fraud. Even when we decided to cancel our cards, nothing was done to try to retain us. Instead the representative just rambled on about nothing. They claimed they would investigate, but never heard anything back. And it’s strange, after getting new cards, about 4times, another fraud was committed.

Wex changed my policy without notification and refuses to allow me to access the money I contributed. This feels like a scam and I lost a few thousand dollars.

have the wexflex card that doesn't allow you to advance payment so got hit with excessive late fees of $1200-1300 but says min. $75

Terrible company. They have the worst communication of any card company Ive ever seen. With no warning I found out they reduced my monthly credit limit by over 50 percent. I only noticed when my driver was stranded at the pump! Had Wex for over a year and am immediately switching companies.

WEX HSA cards are poorly run and customer service is not helpful. Your money leaves your bank account for contributions to WEX HSA, and then they hold it for 5 business days before you can pay your bills with it. You are stuck....the money is not in your bank account and they will not let you spend it from your own HSA. They treat your money like they own it. I will be canceling my service with them April 1.

Called to resolve a card status issue. Spoke with "supervisor" Ramond. HORRIBLE service. Talked over me the whole time. Did not listen to what I said only wanted to prove I was wrong or something. Very arrogant, rude and condescending. His tone just dripping with sarcasm. Hope they record their calls.

The worst mistake my company has made so far!!!! First, the discounts are terrible - you can get much better discounts elsewhere. Now, I had a $10k payment return for no reason whatsoever, and they charged me a $699 LATE FEE!! This was set as an automatic payment, I have the balance in the bank account, the payment got returned and they charged almost $700 dollars! This is outrageous and immoral. I requested to close the account immediately, then charged me a $132 dollar fee and the only to make payment was through check or wire. I paid the $132 through a check in the mail, and guess what?? 2 days later I get an invoice for $40 for "check payment"!!! They charge you for sending payments through check. This is just a scheme - they hit you with so many fees that it's impossible to close the account. Also, it's IMPOSSIBLE, literally IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone in collections, let alone someone that can make any decision regarding your account and these late fees. Emails are useless, as they go unanswered 100% of the time. If you are a trucking company, stay way from this fraudulent institution!

They intentionally send bills without enough time for check to get there through electronic bill pay or us mail. If you pay same day you get the bill it will ALWAYS be posted after the due date resulting in neverending $50 late fee and 33% interest. Late fees charged on late fees and they WILL NOT DISCUSS over the phone due to some sort of "Contact Name" mixup that they blame on Citibank. (Who they took over the Exxon card business from)

DO NOT GET THIS CARD! I called because I am worried my account has been compromised. All 3 times I got a foreigner who spoke broken English and advised me for security reasons they have to send me a letter or someone would call me within 24-48 hours! HOW IS THIS SECURING MY ACCOUNT? I told them to cancel the cards or at least put a hold on my account until it resolved if this is how thyme have to handle it. They wouldn't even do that! As soon as this so called phone call or letter appears - I am cancelling this foreign account! Shame on you for not making me feel secure!

$75 late payment fees and nearly 40% interest rates because they don't process payments on time. On two occasions I sent payment 10 days prior to the due date, and both times they did not deposit the payment until the day after the due date: suspicious isn't it. Then they charge outrageous late fees and increase the interest rates to to nearly 40%. I called and they offered no support or accommodation. I think they may be scamming people.
