I bought a refrigerator from Best Buy & paid it off, I bought a TV , phone accessories, Barbie’s. All of this should have been documented that I used the “credit card” & I paid it off. Again credit reports are not what they used to be. How many refrigerators and TV’s do you need. When be I use this “credit card”.

I have perfect credit and as soon as I used this card, my score went down. After a while it started to go up, but after it was paid off, I made another purchase and it went down again. Don't ever use this card if you care about your credit score. It is the worst and no one could explain why this happened. Will never use this card again.

On 4/17, I received credit alerts form the credit bureaus that my credit limit had been decreased. My limit was reduced from $10k to $2400. My current balance on the account is $2200 so my overall utilization is now 95% from 21%. I recently missed my April payment by 8 days. I have been under ALOT of stress and simply forgot to make the payment. The payment was due on 4/9. I immediately made the payment once I learned I was late and set -up auto pay on the account. My complaint is that I feel that I have been retaliated against because of the late payment. I have never been late on the account from all the years I have been a cardholder (over 5 years). Because of my unintentional negligence, because life happens, I feel that I have been punished by this harsh action to decrease my limit. The decrease will now significantly impact my credit score and rating and will more than likely deny approval for future credit. I was advised that this action could not be reversed and that in order for me to get my limit increased, I would need to request a new increase which will cause a hard inquiry on my report. If this is normal Best Buy practice, I encourage all consumers to caution opening an account with Best Buy. They treat their customers with the least amount of respect, with little to no understanding and empathy. Do not open an account with these people. They do not value their credit card holders and will dismiss you for simple mistake. I regret ever opening an account with them. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM! DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM!

This card is predatory. After you have the card for 2 years with a stellar payment history, Citibank will still requires a HARD credit pull to get a limit increase. I really regret applying for this card and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. When those Best Buy salespeople tries to convince you Into it - say no. Rule of thumb - Never apply for a card that doesn’t protect your credit from a damaging HARD PULL onto your credit for a limit increase. Especially when u are already a member for over a year. Use the hard credit check they force on you to get another card with another bank with a higher credit limit and a better interest rate.

Be aware they report your balance before billing you. It messing up your credit.i got approved from bestbuy getting a laptop. awesome but before i got my first bill or even having a chance to pay it, They reported the debt of balance to my credit report. Effecting my credit report negatively all together over 20 points. when they could of just held off statement report until after the billing cycle.
