It seems that Big O Tires keep changing banks or something like that. I used comenity bank, now the bank will not give me a card, I just had the card for a year and now I was told that there is no longer service through comenity bank. I have no clue to who deal with Big O Tires, maybe it's time to give up dealing with the Big O Tires and move on to a different store, Yes I am going to leave, Maybe my next stop is Firestone, I had my account with them for over 9 years and had no problems and no bank problems either.

Getting this card was the worst thing I've ever done. Nothing but constant problems. Can't confirm it's me by using my SSN so wouldn't let me pay my bill for 2 months then took down my credit score for late payment. When they finally let me pay the bill I tried paying the entire thing, plenty of money on other card to do so... They left a $27 balance then charged me around $80 in late fees.

Unfortunately they will not credit your account on an early payment. I hope they are happy with their customer service or lack of, it just caused them to not only close my paid off account and as soon as my wife's is paid off that is closed as well. Very poor customer service at Citi Bank it just cost them 2 accounts, loosing this customers because they have horrible customer service.

Not even worth having because every time I have tried to use they have always asked if I had a different card because it's too much of a hassle to get an approval!!! Why even offer them if it too much of a hassle to use it!!!! If I would have know that it was going to be like this every time I wouldn't of even got it and had it put on my credit report!!! Waste of time!!

If you're planning on going to or a frequent buyer of Big O Tires, then the Big O Tires Store Card is a card that's definitely worth checking out. Although there are no rewards, purchases and cash advances are on par with other cards, it has its perks by having special rebate/coupon offers, special financing, and low monthly payments for frequent buyers. There's no balance transfers and you also need to spend $250 or $500 minimum to get great benefits. Comparing this to the National Tire and Battery Store Card, Big O has higher rates that you need to clear compared to the NTB, such as NTB having a $200 minimum and Big O having $250. This is a last resort card and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The Big O Tires Store Card is maybe the perfect card for you, but most likely not. You wont really be getting much out of it unless youre having tons of tire issues weekly or monthly. But who really has that issue. You get prepaid visa cards if you pay a select amount and a high % rate for fees. If you buy tires you get 6 months interest free to pay them off. You would be better off using a gas card for the most park like Quik or NEA or general cash rewards card and just build your points off of spending it on the repairs and tires. My opinion would to be stray away from it and get a Chase Rewards or Visa Rewards card.

The Big O Tires Store Card is a good option for a few people, but not all. It is good for those select few of you that has tire issues very often. I do like that there is no interest if paid in full within 6 months, but I would not get this card. They also have a nice $50 cash back, so that is a plus. I, personally, this getting this type of card is a waste but it could come in handy for some people. I would go with a gas card like NEA instead since you actually use gas a lot.
