I got this card in April of 2023. I used it for two weeks and accumulated $39 of rewards. Then the nightmare started. CapitalOne keeps sending me the verification message for every transaction. Even though I replied 'yes, it's correct', they still restricted my card and I was embarrassed when transaction didn't go through. Later, I was not able to collect the reward $. But they were able to charge me interest. I eventually paid all balances and closed the account. Nightmare was over

I finally became so frustrated by this credit card provider's poor customer service that I called BJ's to cancel my club membership. I decided to keep my membership only after the BJ's representative informed me that BJ's soon would be changing their store card to Capital One, and my experience with other Capital One cards has been excellent.
There were multiple unpleasant customer-NO-service experiences with Comenity over the years, but the final straw was when after years of consistently paying on time and in full, I paid late because I didn't receive my December 2022 bill. The phone representative (from India who spoke nearly unintelligible English) basically implied I was a liar and refused to waive the late fee for even a first offense.

My experience has been awful and has had a negative impact on my credit. I never received the card. 10-13-22.. 1/20/23. FThey automatically renewed my membership on a card I never received, when I finally received a bill and called them, I was told collection would take off the late fee of $15 which they didn’t do and they transferred me to customer service. Spoke with customer service & told them I don’t charge renewals to a card I never received. Never received replacement card. Now 1/20/23 Found out BJ Mastercard showing on credit report I owe $147 late fees on card I have never had and did not receive replacement card either and they refuse to correct issue with credit bureau.(Worse Customer Service) There has never been any charge on this BJ Mastercard card since it has never been in my possession since I never received it. Customer Service had the nerve to ask me do I want them to send me a RePlacement Card. (Never). There has never been a negative issue of any kind on my credit report in 30 years until dealing with BJ on their BJMastercard that has never been in my possession. B Harmon

The cash awards are not properly calculated. I paid the balance of $402 in July 2022 and have not charged anything since. They are still showing $402 balance on credit reports.

This is THE WORST customer Service. Currently, over 4 months (and counting) of trying to remove a fraudulent charge on this card. Meanwhile, I'm harassed daily for pmnt while they hit my credit report for THEIR mistake! Late fees and interest being assessed too! Can't get any help from BJ's either. I can't wait until this gets resolved (if it ever does without a lawsuit) I'm cancelling immediately! My FICO went from near 800 to 750's now due to this fiasco! Capital One has the new contract with BJ's as the new Credit Issuer, it begins in 2023, but I'm not trusting BJ's anymore either! BEWARE..if I could write this with a ZERO stars I would!!!!!

We opened our BJ's credit card account just before hurricane Ian. I had autopay all set up but through a glitch in their system, our autopay did not go through. They even admitted that there was a glitch in their system. Never the less, they shut down our card and would not allow us access to our account or to use our credit card until the next billing cycle even though I paid the entire balance once it was brought to my attention. This is unheard of for people with outstanding credit. We canceled out credit card and will opening a Sam's credit card instead. It is the worst most unprofessional service I have ever encountered! If I could have given this card a zero star I certainly would have.
