I really like using this card. I originally got it due to the Savingscatcher program at Walmart, but I find that the ease of reloading and the good customer service make it the best prepaid card to use. I also like that it is very easy to check the balance and transactions online, and that you can load it easily with more money at Walmart.

I love this card. Igot it because I needed a card to purchase items off of Amazon. The application process was easy. I just applied on the internet and i received my card in a week. Soon after i put money on the card and it's free to do. No monthly fees or nothing. One bad thing is it isn't accepted everywhere. i wanted to pay my gas bill but American express wasn't an option. Other than that, i love this card.

When I was looking for a prepaid card, this one jumped out at me. I had spoken with others who used it and were pleased. The application was simple and the card is easy to use. I have never had any trouble using it to pay for items online or in stores. I highly recommend this card for those looking for a prepaid card. Customer service is wonderful if you experience any trouble as well.

I initially got the Bluebird Prepaid card for a promotion with Walmart's Savings Catcher. If I redeemed my Walmart Bucks to Bluebird, I got double the money. But after the promotion was over, I found myself loving this card. There is no fee to reload the card and I can reload the card with a machine at Walmart. That was very easy. The card is pretty convenient, when I have money loaded on it, I can use it a lot of places, but I did run into at least one store that didn't take American Express so that was inconvenient. It was very easy to apply online for the card and I got it within two weeks or so. I love that it has the option for you to set up sub accounts. You can set up a savings account and move money from the main account to it and you have to transfer it back to the main account to spend it so that can potentially help you save money better. You can set up subaccounts for other family members as well. Customer service was pretty friendly and helpful but it was a little frustrating when I called because I had made a purchase online and something happened so that it didn't go through (computer error or something) and the money was transferred but it didn't go through on the retailer's side and it took several days for it to get transferred back over to Bluebird. Finally, I use Bluebird to get paid for online crowdsourcing work and I get the money pretty quickly, at least by the next day.

I've been using the AmEx Bluebird Prepaid Card for about a year. I got it primarily to use for transferring some money I make from working online, but since getting it, I find that I use it for so much more! Transferring money via my Bluebird is so fast and easy. Transfers go through within minutes. My deposits are handled smoothly and quickly. I use their app to find compatible ATMs, so there's no fee for withdrawals, but on the few occasions that I've not been able to locate one, the fee is comparable to my regular bank account.

I use the Bluebird Prepaid Card to transfer some of my money that I make online. I love this card, and it's ease of use. This is not a debit card, so I don't use it for my purchases. Whenever I want to make an ATM withdrawal, Bluebird makes my transactions go smoothly each and every time. The ATM fee is relatively low compared to other prepaid cards that I've used in the past. Overall, I feel that Bluebird is a perfect card for those with or without a bank account. This card would also be ideal for college students! Parents can easily load the card with money every month for their kids away at college, and it gives them an opportunity to learn about budgeting their money.

I've had no issues whatsoever with AmEx Bluebird. It's actually a rather nifty little card to keep in your wallet even if you have a traditional bank account. My work direct deposit hits my account two days sooner than a traditional bank, and if you use US Bank for your withdrawals, it's free!
These negative reviews are from inbred, Walmart-shopping hicks that have hot knifed too much dope. They can't even spell, ferchrissake. Bluebird isn't a debit card and shouldn't be used like one. Don't use it at the gas station, don't use it at hotels and don't assume all merchants accept AmEx. Instead, hit the ATM on your way out and avoid the embarrassment. They keep whining and moaning about how crappy it is. AmEx ain't stupid. They'll catch onto your scheming ways quick so don't try it. Use the card as you're instructed in the welcome packet and it'll but nothing but a breeze.

Unlike a lot of reviewers here, I have had no trouble at all with my Bluebird Card. I have moved money to and from other cards with no problems, and the transfers are done in seconds. There is even a review button to make sure how much you are doing and what the total will be when you are done. That comes in handy when you are no good with numbers. It is limited to where you can use it. But if you withdraw money from an in house ATM, there are no fees. And most Walmarts have one.

If i could give zero stars i would. I had a bluebird card associated with my SSN and such. I called today to request a new card because i lost mine. They told me they had NO RECORD of me. I remember purchasing my card at Walmart and loading money on it. They entered my SSN, birth date, and such and they said im not associated with them. The worst part about it is i had money on it. I NEVER AUTHORIZED THEM TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT. Do not get this card. I will be talking to attorney since they violated their rules.

That doesn't make any sense. You must have done it wrong. As soon as I got the card I called them and gave them my info. 2 weeks later I got my reloadable card in the mail. I lost my card and called them to send a new one and got it in 5 days. Its also best to make an account online as well though that wouldn't affect your problem. If you got a card in the mail then they have your account. If you did all the steps above then you must have done something wrong.

You probably did something wrong and I have never known them to just delete someone's account without their consent in fact I don't even think they can delete your account only you can do that and you can do that under your account also they don't ask for your social security number when talking to them they only ask for the last four of that SSN you're either tryna ruin a scam or you did something wrong like Blake said. You purchased a temporary card not the actual card they send it to you within 5 to 7 business days you can contact a lawyer but ultimately this seems like it is your fault not theirs.
