Capital One Quicksilver cash back rewards do not expire as long as your account is open and in good standing. You will forfeit any cash back rewards you have yet to redeem if you or Capital One closes your Capital One Quicksilver account for any reason.
Similarly, Capital One will not allow you to earn or redeem cash back rewards whenever you're late making the minimum payment.
Capital One Quicksilver does not have transfer partners, unlike many other popular credit cards. Capital One Quicksilver rewards are redeemable only for cash back, gift cards, Amazon and PayPal purchases, or previous purchases and cannot be transferred to another loyalty program.
No, you can't use your Capital One Quicksilver card at Costco because this is a Mastercard credit card. Costco only accepts cards on the Visa network, at least this is the case for its warehouse locations. You can, though, use your Capital One Quicksilver card for online purchases at Costco.

I got this card because I wanted one with a good rewards program. This one meets that need with it's 1.5% cash back. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Capital one's website is easy to use when I pay my bill. I was able to get a credit limit increase after a few months of use. I would happily recommend this to someone else. I have never had a problem with my card so I can't speak for customer service though.

I originally got this card for the cash back you get on every purchase. It honestly sounded too good to be true, but it really does work exactly as they say. Spend money, get cash back. It's that simple. The fee is fixed at 1.5%. So no matter what category you're spending in, you don't get any special reward as some cards do for travel and gas. So you do get your 1.5%, but never anything more. Still, if you do a lot of varied spending as many people do, this card will be worth it. Customer service has been okay. I've never had to call them for anything major, so I can't go too in depth. But each rep I've spoken to has always been courteous and answered whatever question I had at the time. They never gave me the run around or anything crazy. I'd recommend the card to others. Do keep in mind you have to have pretty good credit to get this card. If your credit falls in the fair range or below, they'll probably deny you. But if you have the credit score and do a lot of spending, this card would be a great asset.

I like the Quicksilver, the only reason why I would rate it an average score is because to me it feels like an average card. It's very straightforward, the Quicksilver is a cash back rewards card that awards 1.5% cash back for everything. There are no promotional categories like the Freedom which give you a higher rate back, everything is straight-up 1.5% back. This puts it ahead of other cash back cards that typically only do 1%, but promotional categories probably wouldn't hurt and make this card better than the Freedom. If anything, this is the go-to every day purchases card. Perfect for every day purchasing power.

I've always been a fan of Capital One, as it was the first card I received when I turned 18. I got the Capital One Cash Rewards card, as I got a recommendation from a friend that had the same card. It is a great card and Capital One is a very fair company. The only thing I would improve is making the rewards slightly easier to redeem. I would recommend it to others for sure. I have never had a problem with Capital One and they have always treated me right.

Was approved with 631 credit score in Nov. 2014 with $300 credit limit. After my first 4 on time payments credit limit was increased to $2300 without asking for increase.Continued to use card on normal basis paying off in full each month. In Dec. 2015 went to Cap One website and asked for Credit Limit increase and was approved for $12,500 Credit Limit. The customer service is excellent as well.My Credit Score is now 723.Love my Quicksilver card.

Is the new CL based on income? I keep seeing different amounts. Also, how quickly did you pay on your card after making charges?

I've had this card a long time, I think I got it when I was establishing credit. The interest rate is a little high. I haven't had any problems with it. I haven't really had to use the customer service, so I can't say much about that. It's easy to use their website and I receive paperless billing. If the interest rate were a little lower, I would be very pleased with it.

I got this card when I was first establishing credit for myself. This card is virtually excepted anywhere and everywhere. One thing that stood out was the $100 cash bonus that I enjoyed spending on an outfit after three months. I like Capital One bank and have had experience with them before. There's not much to improve on this card because I didn't experience any negative issues. Customer service was always nice and helped me with any of my concerns.

I got this card because I was looking for something that offered a good reward program. I've had cards in the past that offered cash back or points, but redeeming them was always such a pain. I LOVE this card. The reward process is really worthwhile and easy to use, no obnoxious hoops to jump through. I can't think of anything I would improve except maybe the minimum payment. I typically carry a pretty low balance on the card, but I don't like having to pay it off in a lump sum.

I got the Quicksilver card from Capital One because I was looking for a simple cash back rewards card. The two things that drew me to this card were the $0 annual fee and the easy to earn $100 initial bonus. I have found that the 1.5% cash back on all purchases makes this card much easier to use than the cards with rotating with rotating categories because I always know what I'm getting. There is no reason to have to strategically plan your purchases to earn rewards. I also like that my rewards never expire, because I like to let them build up before I redeem them. I think my only issue with the card is that 1.5% is a comparatively low cash back rate, but I think the convenience of no rotating categories to worry about offsets that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this card for anybody looking to an easy to use, hassle-free rewards card.
