How long is the Chase Slate grace period?
The Chase Slate grace period for credit card payments is at least 21 days. The 21+ day grace period starts at the end of each billing period, when the monthly statement is generated, and runs until the payment due date. Cardholders who pay their statement balance in full within those 21 days will not owe any interest, when the Slate Card's regular APR is in effect. Anyone who takes advantage of Chase Slate's introductory 0% APR promotion will also avoid interest charges on new purchases and balance transfers (for the duration of the promotions), as long as they pay the minimum amount due each billing period.
The Chase Slate grace period does not cover balance transfers or cash advances. Only purchases get at least 21 days interest-free. And, if you carry a balance between months, you will lose the Chase Slate's grace period on future billing statements. You will need to pay off the statement balance in full for two straight months in order to get Chase Slate's grace period back. It's also important to note that if you're late in making at least the minimum payment due, you'll risk forfeiting any introductory 0% APRs that are in effect at that time.
