My wife joined Choice over a year ago and account was in her name. We share an email and received an offer for Barclays Visa CC that would add points to account. I, as family head, applied by phone and when asked if I had account with Choice supplied my wife’s Choice #. After no points being added to account, after several billing cycles, I questioned, learning that primary CC holder had to be same first name as on Choice account. My wife has total card rights and independent # CC number??. I was told by Choice I would have to come up with a new email account (had shared the same for many years), create a new Choice account with my name (which they did). I was told it was then just a matter of attaching CC to the newly created one by informing Barclays customer service. After hours of phone time, listening to poor English speaking, hearing roosters crowing, all I’ve accomplished is my wife and I each holding an independent Choice account, 36,000+ earned points not rewarded to either sense card activation July 1st. There’s apparently no coordination or communication between Barclays or Choice customer service departments. They’ll just apologize, say they understand, make unfulfilled promises of getting problem solved, and pass you back and forth. Customer service from both Choice and Barclays are the worst I’ve ever encountered.

I just got approved for the Choice Priveleges Visa credit card last week. I haven't even received the card yet, but when I went online to the online account that I created, there were some transactions to a GoFundMe page that were over several hundreds of dollars, and I haven't even received the card. I called customer service and they said that things have been straightened out. But I'm going to see how things work out.

Excellent customer customer, quick response to false charges. I’m very glad to have this card and hope to keep it open for a very long time. Perfect for rebuilding credit and for unexpected emergencies. This is one of my favorite cards!

Sounds to me like most of these reviews are Shills for the card company, they know everything that the card company won't divulge?! This is the ONLY site you'll find with at least a semblance of positive feedback re this card!

The initial upfront rewards are great and were of good use. HOWEVER, going forward, future reward incentives are NEVER honored! (That's 10 points on eligible stays through the Choice Privileges membership and 5 points per dollar charged to the Choice Privileges Visa card). I have had this card for a year and to this day, I have not received my 5 points per dollar charged to the card for my eligible stays! They promised in every conversation they would sort it out and it never happens. On another occasion, just this year, I needed some points to get a free hotel stay and I was going to swear off the card once and for all. The promo at the time was DOUBLE points on restaurant purchases. Not surprised when that wasn't honored. They are liars and scammers! Buyer beware! It's only getting 2 stars because of the initial signup and spending rewards given. After that, cut it up and toss it!

The current promotion is misleading. 15 points for each$1 spent. Here is how that works. 5 points for each $1 spent at Choice hotels. This is from Visa. 10 points from Choice privileges (Which you get if you are a Member regardless of method of payment.) So in actuality the card is only giving you 5 points for each $1 spent not 15!

That's if you're lucky enough to ever get those 5 points! A year later and I'm still out hundreds of points because of what they call a "malfunction" in their system!

The Choice Credit Card is definitely one of the best credit cards out there. There are many great things about it. If you stay in Choice hotels a lot and have good credit, you should definitely try to take advantage of this card. I like all of the rewards. I love being able to get free nights. It's nice sometimes to just go relax at a hotel. The bonus options are amazing. I would say this card is just as great as the Hilton Credit Card. They are similar in ways. The only thing I dislike a little is you have to have good credit for this, but that is not a major downfall since that is typical.

The Choice credit card offer great perks and rewards just for using it. I travel frequently on business, and Choice hotels are some of my favorites. I like that it comes with initial attractive bonus options. The regular interest rate is average, about the same as other hospitality credit cards such as the Hilton Credit Card. It is awesome that there is no annual fee, plus they reward points for purchases at other establishments. It takes about 8,000 for a free night, which is great for card members who stay at Choice Privileges locations. In short, this card has a great balance of useful features, and decent rates, and incentives that will make card holders happy.

We are retired and stay in Choice Privileges about 10 nights a year. With this card, we have not paid for a motel room in a couple of years. The only problem is that the quality of the motels, within the same brand name is not consistent.
