I fell behind in my payments due to Covid 19. They told me I could submit partial payments, but now it shows in behind on payments? I thought I would be safe from being behind since it was due to Covid 19. Thanks for letting me know about how I can fix this.

I have been a 10 year+ cardholder and recently suffered a fraudulent charge on my account. After months of calls and struggling, Dillards determined that myself or "someone I gave permission to use my card" made the purchase and would not cover the charge. They did not alert me that I had a balance due (my e-mail was correct in their system), and it tanked my credit score from an 840+ to around 750. I
have fought with the credit bureaus with no luck, needless to say I closed this account.… show more

Dillards is a disgrace. I have been a Dillards CC holder for 15 years. Due to missing two payments they decided to close my account. No warnings, no phone calls, no letters of notifications, nothing... Remind you that my account has a $5,000 credit limit with $112 used on it. I have never missed a payment in the 15 years that I have had the account. You would think they would have sympathy or understanding
but nope. They are full of it. I will NEVER get another Dillards cc with them and I recommend no one else gets one either.… show more

Decent store credit card. I don't expect much from store credit cards. I was talked into applying when I purchased a coat from dillards. Transunion was the bureau pulled. I live in Kansas. I was instantly approved for the amex version with a $4500 limit. Transunion fico score was in high 790s at the time of application.

Yesterday I called 3 different times to see if I can get someone customer service oriented, each one was worst than the previous with the last been the worst. The customer service is not a priority, they aren't there to help.

I love this card I use it online and for instore purchases. No problems!! I travel a lot the hotels and restaurants I use always honor my card. Sometimes some merchants may say this is a Dillard's card until they see the Amex logo after that every thing changes for the best. This is the best card in my wallet.

Wells Fargo customer service is the worst. Employees are not empowered to use rational thought or critical thinking skills. When requesting to speak to a "manager" they simply pass the call along to another call center employee. As the credit company for a retailer like Dillards, Wells Fargo doesn't really care about customer service. They act merely as a card processing company for them. I made a payment of $7000 and after 4 days they
still had not freed up my available credit even though the payment was made electronically and had been removed from my checking account 4 days prior. The only answer any agent or "manager" was able to give me after numerous calls was "we have to wait for the payment to fully clear". What does that even mean in the age of technology?? The money was extracted from my checking account?! Again since they operate as a credit service provider for Dillard's they really have no interest in customer experience. The only reason I even have the card is that it's the only way to receive the Dillard's employee discount. They know I have no other options so they truly do not care whether a Dillard's employee is satisfied or not.… show more

I traveled with 3 of my major cards, and Dillard's American Express was the only one that was scanned by the information extracted fraud machine and was used in its totality, I called to report the fraud and I was told not to make a payment until I get the new card, but they still got the payment from my bank account before the new card arrival and before knowing the new account number, so
I was scared and called my bank to stop payment, I was charged with 35 for stopping payment, plus 45 because the overdraft, I contacted this credit card's customer service to ask an explanation but all I received was "I apologize for not letting you know your new account number was changed and the payment was going to be processed, we cannot give you credit for the expenses this issue has caused" I close the account. Be aware that this kind of credit card with the special chip to make your life easy, makes all these sneak thieves' life easy too.… show more

Today I have made my last payment on the Dillard's American Express let me start off with saying when I first got the card years ago it was great no problems! The sec they changed over to Wells Fargo all types of problems mostly with them never receiving our payments that we make 2 weeks in advance. Prior to changing we paid threw our bank account always got there on time no Hassale. When they
changed over to Wells Fargo one we never got notified that any address on payee were changing so threw our bank account everything stayed the same they would never receive our payments and blamed us for wrong information on our part. We changed the address that THEY provided only for it still not to get there now we're getting charged late payments again! It's a on going thing with these people I won't cancel my card only because it affects our credit but I will make sure I will never use this card again! Horrible!!!! Do not get it! Look else where if I could give them zero stars I would!… show more

I love shopping at department stores like Dillard. The introductory APR is amazing! The rewards system is better than what I would consider industry standard in stores such as Macy's or JCPenney. The point system would encourage me to use their card as opposed to using my lower interest credit cards, debit card, or cash.

The Dillard's Credit Card seems to be more practical than other store based cards in terms of not only it's Reward system in general, but the fact that it rewards for groceries, gas, and other items; not solely those purchased in the store. I've had Walmart and Best Buy credit cards and they definitely did not offer those options. Comparatively: the rest seems similar as far as APR, interest, late fee, grace period; your credit
card basics. So it looks like if you have good credit and frequent Dillard's, get on it!… show more

I generally do not like store credit cards, even if they are all purpose cards, as their points are usually only earned on store purchases. This card looks to be a little different. I like the fact you can also achieve double points on groceries and gasoline, which is very much like the Barclay rewards card I carry. Except, that the rewards on this Dillard's card can only be turned in for Dillard gift cards,
while most other reward card can actually be turned in for statement credit to be used on anything or even against your bill balance.… show more

I love the points system of the credit card. I tend to look for credit cards that have good rewards systems because there are times when I do spend a lot and I want to get rewarded for using my credit card instead of cash or a debit card. The late fee is slightly higher than my other credit cards but the other features seem to be pretty similar to my Lord and Taylor credit
card. The interest rates are average compared to other offers as well.… show more

Even though there is no annual fees, the other costs of this card (foreign transaction fee, cash advance fee, APR) is pretty high. If you don't trigger those fees and you shop at Dillards often, this may be a good option for you. However, AMEX cards do usually have slightly higher fees than Visa or Mastercards. I probably wouldn't recommend this card unless you're a Dillard's regular.

Just like a lot of the other users mentioned, the APR is a little high for the credit card. What I like about this card is that you can earn points and you do get cash incentives and percent off coupons every-so-often, depending on how much you shop at Dillard's. I love that there is no annual fee for this card and the cash advance fee percentage. Overall it's a great card for someone who
shops regularly here and pays on time, otherwise the card may start to hurt you.… show more

I am not a huge fan of this card. I feel like for as high as the interest rate is, it should have more perks. Other cards offer you a certain percentage off of all of your purchases made at that store and this one does not. I don't feel motivated to use the card. You do get points for purchases which is nice, but I'm not overwhelmed with the rewards. I also was displeased
with the customer service after I had an issue with making a payment and ended up having to pay it late WITH the late fee. The issue was on their end but they were not willing to waive my fee (first time late) or do anything to rectify the issue :/… show more

This Dillard's credit card has a very high APR for one that requires Good/Excellent credit to obtain. It comes with many nice perks such as the Dillard's reward points, but for that APR I have to say NO. I comes with pretty hefty late fee of thirty five dollars if you forget and pay late too, pretty harsh for a card only for those that have a proven track record of good credit and so
are far from dead beats. I would also say if a card these days is going to charge 3 percent foreign transaction fee, they should have the courtesy to put the chip in you will need in order to be able to use it in much of Europe these days.… show more

I got my Dillard credit card in December and I was able to buy a few great gifts for my husband with it. One of the things I like the most about the card is the perks you get when you use it, and not just when I use it at Dillards, which is helpful when I get gas for my car or groceries at the local market. Also a big selling point for me
was no annual fee. I have had cards in the past that it seemed I was paying them for the privilege to use it. The APR is a fair one for credit during this economic time too.… show more

I like that this credit card has a lot of bonus perks that other cards do not have. If you shop at Dillard's frequently or even shop at your local grocery store frequently, then this card is perfect. I'm not a fan of the foreign transaction fee, but that is pretty standard. The rates work pretty well at 13-22% and 27% cash advance. The late fee being $35 is similar to the Capital One Venture
Rewards card so that also seems pretty standard. Overall it looks like a solid credit card with perks for frequent shoppers and no ridiculous fees or rates.… show more

Dillard's credit card sounds like a good choice for those who love to shop at Dillard's. There is no annual fee, which is awesome. It may not seem like a lot at the time. "Oh like 25 dollar annual fee, no big deal." It is a big deal when the time to pay comes around and you had that money earmarked for something else. You can earn points toward 10% off Shopping Passes or even
get more points for $10 Rewards Certificates that you can use on Dillard's items. This would definitely be a lifesaver on top of the great sales they have at the stores. This says every dollar you spend you get 1 reward point, up to 2 reward points per dollar spent, depending on where you go. Unfortunately Interest rates are way high, for the regular rate it's 13.24%-21.99% and for cash advances it's 26.99% which isn't as much as Capital One for instance, but still pretty high. Again, wonderful card if you love Dillard's.… show more

The Dillard's credit card is a great card to use if you shop at Dillard's a lot. This card can also be used anywhere American Express is accepted. Using this card at Dillard's nets you 2 bonus points per dollar you spend, which is rather generous compared to my JCPenny card that only rewards 1 point per dollar spent. Since this card is an American Express card, you get even more points using it elsewhere
( 2 points on Groceries and gas, 1 point everywhere else ). If you love to spend, you can easily accumulate that 10 dollar reward certificates every month. Another high note to this card is that there are no annual fees. Interest rates on the other hand is a bit costly, but that is expected from credit cards no these days. Just be responsible with your payments, and you won't have to worry too much. Overall this is a nice card to have, especially if you love to shop at Dillard's.… show more

The DILLARD’S credit card seems like a nice card to have with no annual fee being a big boost. However, the cards interest rate is a little high for usage especially when we’re talking about using it in a grocery or gas station. I do like the discount that is received when opening the account. If you shop at Dillard's frequently, the Dillard's credit card is for you. Don't worry about an annual fee: there is none. You have a 23 day grace period to make your payment, and get free merch just for shopping there. The rate being set at 26.99% could be a little lower in my opinion though.

The Dillard's credit card seems like a reasonable credit card to own, particularly if you are a regular shopper at the Dillard's stores. There are several pros to owning this card: no annual fee, 2 points for every dollar spent grocery shopping or buying gas and a decent discount after spending $100 in Dillards. However, there are a couple of cons also: a relatively short grace period, high annual percentage rate. Also, the American Express
card is not accepted everywhere and Macy's offers coupons for 20% or more. Because there are no Dillards department stores in my area, and I am not a fan of buying clothes online, I will probably not apply for a card.… show more

I love having a Dillard's card because I travel in the South and they're popular there (I'm in California and they are few and far between here). I also like the card because it actually has a decent APR -- it's lowest rate is only about 13% -- though it can go up to over 20%, so beware. I use my store credit cards sparingly because I don't want to get buried under debt. However,
I do like to use them stores at the stores I like due to special deals and coupons. The rewards also make it attractive. Unlike Macy's, they send reward certificates based on how much you use the card and spend. The discounts aren't as deep as Macy's, but they're still good enough, coupled with the lower APR, to entice me to go to Dillard's and use my card.… show more

I've had my Dillard's credit card for about a year now and what's great is that it's a rewards-based card. I have a long commute to work so earning 2 reward points for every $1 spent on gasoline is awesome to go towards that purse I've been eyeing on lately. I can also use it at the grocery store which is an added bonus, who doesn't shop for groceries? So, earning rewards goes fast at
2 reward points for every $1 spent. This is why I keep my Dillard's card at hand always, compared to the Nordstrom's card I have, that doesn't have as many member discounts. Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes to shop!… show more

There are some definite credit card benefits that can be felt by frequent Dillard's shoppers. As I'm in the midst of repairing my credit, interest rates are already fairly high on new accounts, so that doesn't necessarily surprise me. However, I currently have a cash-back card through CapitalOne (Quicksilver)- and I'd much prefer cash to points! While the 1.5% cash back is a fairly low number, it's exceptional in that it applies to all purchases.
Overall, I wouldn't receive much benefit from the Dillard's Credit Card, especially in comparison to Quicksilver which gives me the only reward I'm interested: money!… show more

I’m not a fan of the Dillard’s Credit Card. While your point earned per dollar is similar to other cards I have the simple fact that’s its part of American Express isn’t something I would be interested in. For the simple fact American Express isn’t always accepted where I shop. The interest rate is high compared to others credit cards. The Dillard's card is great for use in the store. The points add up quickly and you can not beat the interest rates for a department credit card. I especially like the fact that you can earn two points for every dollar spent on gas. This card is very beneficial to me and I would recommend it to my friends and family. This card has a much better rate and rewards than my Macy's card.

The Dillard's credit card is a great rewards card for the store itself, and it's easy to earn points and rewards, even just by buying gas. Great interest rates as well! But because it's specifically Dillard's brand, its rewards don't really extend beyond the store itself like other rewards cards that can be redeemed at more than one store.

I like that the Dillard's credit card is a rewards-based card. But it is too limited for my use. I do not drive so earning 2 reward points for every $1 spent on gasoline is not useful in my situation (this would not apply to most people, however). And my primary grocery store is a co-op that does not accept credit cards! So for my own use, I would never earn 2 reward points for
every $1 spent. This is why I stick with my current card (Chase Rewards); it rotates the bonus categories every 3 months and includes options like Amazon.com, movie theaters, other department stores (e.g. Kohls) so that even folks like me get an extra bonus from time to time.… show more
