The Discover IT card is a great card to have because of not only the 5% rotating categories but also the lack of a foreign transaction fee. As a frequent traveler to Japan, I like the fact that I can use my Discover IT card everywhere simply because Discover shares a network with JCB, a large payment processor in Japan. I can still rack up rewards and not incur transaction fees. I highly recommend this card as a supplemental card or even as a daily-driver.

I had a discover rewards card and I enjoyed how it let me transfer a high balance with a 0% APR. It helped me not have to pay interest while I paid off a high balance on the card. It was also useful for giving rewards until I was able to cancel the card (along with all my credit cards) and get out of debt for good. Although I don't usually recommend doing balance transfers, it worked in this case to help me get out from under a large interest rate on a large balance.

I've had my Discover card for about a year now and have not been disappointed. Their customer service is friendly and accessible compared to most companies I've dealt with. Their interest rates have been reasonable, and there's no annual fees attached. The rewards program often requires you to activate different categories to earn rewards for online, which is easy to forget to do. However, it's a nice program that allows you to earn money back down the road for other purchases. Overall, I've had complaints about Discover and they've been pleasant to deal with. The only downside is that Discover is accepted at less locations than, say, Visa or Mastercard. However, this inconvenience is mainly limited to smaller restaurants, so it's not a big issue.

I like the Discover It card, because besides the Citi cards there wasn’t much else out there for 18 month balance transfers. They do charge 3% flat fee for balance transfers, but that seems to be standard. I did have to call in because I had a question, and was surprised that an actual human answered the phone and I did not have to wait long to get a hold of someone, and from that perspective seems to be different from some of the other cards I have. They do have the cash back like the other Discover cards do, with the rotating categories which can be nice if you shop a lot in those categories. Overall a good card, with great customer service.

The discover It card is great! I had the regular discover credit card before and I called Discover to upgrade to the new Discover It credit card. They allowed me to to upgrade to this credit card right away. The customer service was great and they answered any questions that I had regarding my new credit card. I like how they do not charge you a foreign transaction fee. My bank of america credit card charges for foreign transaction fee. I hate that. Only down side of this new It card is that they only have limited design of the credit card.

It was the cash back bonus that drew me to this card. I was unsure about getting a credit card, I've seen too many people dig themselves into a lot of trouble with them, but when I received an offer for this one in the mail, I went ahead and applied. I use it for purchases I would have made anyway, like groceries, or Christmas gifts, and then pay it off at the end of the month. So I don't carry a balance, but I get the benefit of the cash back bonus. Taking advantage of the extra 5% bonus is an even better way to use the card. In just a few short months I've managed to earn $100 in cash back rewards! Even better, my credit score has improved as well, because I am paying the bill regularly, and not carrying a balance. Like a previous poster said, there are a few places that don't take Discover, but I haven't found it to be much of an issue, the only time it was inconvenient was at the movie theater. But many more places take Discover than take AmEx! I'm very happy with my decision to get my Discover card, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering a credit card.

I have always been scared to get a credit card and would always laugh at the idea of having one. I thought that if you had cash, use it and don’t buy things you can’t pay for. I realized that I had decent credit and needed to boost it up a little if I ever considered getting one. I decided to get a discover card because my mom told me it was easily the best card she ever had and I knew she had experience. I would say the only problem with the card is that I can’t pay off certain bills but I really like how I can use it in almost every store I go to. They have a shop discover program which is an extension that offers a 5% cash back Bonus at many big store name retailers. I have used this at every store I have been to so far and haven’t got rejected by one yet. I would also like to say that it has great interest rates and the bills that I do get are easy to understand.

For all of my adult life, I have dreaded getting a credit card. For some inexplicable reason, Ive always felt it would be best if I didn't have one. I preferred the feeling of cold hard cash, and I was very content with using my husband's card whenever I needed it. That all changed last year. My husband insisted I build my credit up, and I applied for a few different cards and did just that. Now I have very good credit, and for the past six months I've been using the Discover More Card, and I just love it! Christmas just passed, and I did all of my shopping using the Discover More Card. My husband thinks I went a bit overboard because I spent about $2500. Still, I couldn't be happier, and the children had a great holiday! The rates are great and I only expect my credit to improve. I also love the cash back aspect (it's like seeing an old friend). I am so happy my husband talked me into signing up. This card is a life saver, and compared to the others I am sure I will be sticking with my Discover More for a long long time.

This is really an awesome card. I got an offer for 0% APR for 12 months and 0% apr on balance transfers too. Couldn't beat that. Ofcourse the only thing with Discover is that it's not as widely taken as VISA and MC. When it comes to shopping, most stores take Discover. But when it comes to paying bills, you may find that you have to use a different card if you're a person who prefers to pay your bills by phone or online. Another great feature of this card is the cash back program. To get money back on purchases that I need to make just for using this card instead of paying another way is always a good deal! Another reason I like this card is that there is no annual fee. The card that I had been using had an annual fee of $75 that I was really annoyed with, so getting this card with a 0% APR balance transfer offer and no annual fee is a lot better. I would suggest this card to anyone, although I do think you should also have an MC or Visa debit or credit card too just in case you run into an issue where you can't use your Discover.
