What's Your Rating?
after Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I have a 650 credit score post bankruptcy. I am an authorized user on one of my husband's credit card & have 1 student loan. I also have a house but it was included but we continue to pay on time & will keep it. I was approved for a new car loan with no problems! I was approved for another secured card no questions asked. I was prequalified which is the only reason I applied yet I was still denied. I was sent a letter saying I was denied due to bankruptcy. I called customer service & they stated becuase of bankruptcy & other things on my credit? There's nithing bad on my credit. I always paid on time & have a good credit history. This company is total garbabe & huge liars. I won't apply with them,in the future for anything. They don't deserve good people trying to get their credit back on track as customers...
I started out making multiple payments a month but now just make sure the balance is at zero before every statement and leave it at $0 a few days before and after payment would be due (my due date is the 1st, had it at $0, used it on the 3rd for new cycle and it showed a balance when they reported to bureaus).
The app is very convenient and easy to use, the rewards add up (free $21 so far), and my credit scores through CK went from lower 500s to lower 700s.
At the 8th month now I just got an email they're returning my deposit and giving me a $2500 credit line.
It's a fantastic way to build credit- responsibly. Couldn't be happier, unless I suppose they gave 10% cash back =D ave
