I got this credit card in December and I have never used it. I checked my credit report today and it shows that I have missed multiple payments and had late fees. I called customer service to find out that day were charging me late fees because I had not paid the annual fee for the card. So in essence the card that was supposed to be helping my credit was hurting my credit when I hadn't even used it. Needless to say I cancelled my card and will not do business with this company.

First Progress has great customer service, great support team. I would recommend First Progress to anyone who has been a victim of identity theft or rebuilding their credit. Thanks First Progress.

Ok. I haven`t even gotten this card yet and I`m *&$$ed off. First I applied almost 2 weeks ago. They debited my bank card for the deposit funds and said I was approved. 3 days goes by and the check process screen says I need to do an identity check. I called and was on hold for 1 hr 23 min. I hung up and called again and got through in 10 minutes. Not sure what that was all about but I did the identity check over the phone and they said thank you everything`s good, you`ll receive your card in the mail in 7 to 10 business days. These are stall tactics. I applied for this a while ago. It could`ve been mailed twice by now and their told me 7 to 10 business days more. That was 4 days ago. Now today I got a letter in the make with all the Thank you for applying bull to mail Copy of Drivers License along with utility bill or Bank Statement to prove Identity!!!! Wait what??? I just spent all this time already waiting on a card with my own money on it and their telling me to mail more stuff after already confirming identity over the phone. Answered the security questions and even named 2 specific things on my credit report to confirm. Got the go from them now waited four day for nothing but another identity confirm letter. All these people Joking??? To mail them anything, which I am not, takes 3 or 4 days. By the time this unorganized so called credit company receives it and processes it its likely to be another 3 or 4 days on top. Not mention they will probably say now that we confirmed you are you and your not trying to steal your own money that you deposited, it will be 7 to 10 business days. Perhaps early October even though we took you money in late September. These people at First Progress think were all fools. They already proved my Identity. They got my money now their coming were all these stall tactics to keep the money deposited longer and make more money off of it before sending this card which really doesn't take that long. I`m no idiot. It is now Saturday night. I will be calling them Monday morning. And if that card is not here or on its way here, I`m cancelling for my deposit back or if I have to, I`ll dispute it with my bank as a Fraudulent debit. I`m not gonna play these games with first Progress. At the rate they`re going, I wouldn`t be surprised if people were receiving their cards after the Credit Card Bill is Due!!!! Which should be illegal.
