I applied for the Gold card on the Delta website while buying tickets. The application was approved and said it would be sent to me within 7-10 days. When the purchase screen came up the Gold card number did not populate so I had no way to use it. When I called American Express service I was told i had to wait until i received the card in the mail. They said they were unable to give me the number over the phone and could not cancel the card. I asked to speak to a manager in new accounts who said she cancelled the card and I could reapply and get the number online to use at time of purchase. When I did this I was, once again, not given the number online to use at the time of purchase. Grrrr. I was hoping I missed something the first time. So now I applied for the same card twice in a day (which will ding my credit score) and no American Express agent was able to solve my problem. I bought the tickets with a Visa and earned none of the promotional promises. As an American Express card holder for over 20 years I am very disappointed in their service and misleading online promotional promises.

I absolutely love my Amex card. Their customer service is incredible and the perks with this card are unbeatable. I fly a lot so it is definitely worth it to me. I have had this card for only a few months and already have enough points for a free flight. You also get your first checked bag free which is another great perk. The Amex website is really user friendly and I am never confused about when my bill is due. I would definitely recommend this card to anyone who travels a lot, and likes Delta.

I have had no issues with this card. I use it specifically to get the Sky Miles. I used to fly several times a year and now a little less than that. I have been able to get a number of my flights covered or nearly covered by using the Sky Miles program through American Express. I use the card to make the majority of my purchases so that I can rack up those mileage points. I have had no trouble using miles and have not had any issues with poor customer service. I would recommend American Express Delta Sky Miles credit card to friends and family, especially those who would like to travel.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had the worst experience with this card. They sent me an email saying if I applied and spent a certain amount of money within 3 months I would receive 50,000 bonus points along with some other perks. After I fulfilled the requirements within the 3 months, they only gave me 35,000 points. I literally clicked on the link from the email I received so I know I signed up for the offer. But when it came down to it, they only gave me 35,000 points. I would never have applied for this amount of points. After 3 disputes they refuse to give me the points I deserve. I have stopped using this card and want to let everyone know to BEWARE if you receive the 50,000 point email. It is a fraudulent way to entice you to apply. DO NOT get this card!

I have had Gold Delta SkyMiles credit card from American Express for 4 months. The card is available to those who have a good credit. The main deciding factor to enroll was the additional credit it adds and the double miles it generates. After I purchased two Delta tickets that exceeded 500 dollars, I got an immediate 50 dollar credit. Also, the card speeds up the Delta mileage accumulation by giving double the miles with every ticket purchase. It also gives a free first bag check. Additionally, the card provides a numerous number of cash-back offers with several stores and websites. I am totally satisfied with my Delta SkyMiles credit card.

I would give this credit card an additional star had they not decided to cancel the best benefit which was the companion ticket. I plan to upgrade at the end of this year (for $150) to regain it. Otherwise, the free checked baggage and SkyMiles accrual are still nice to receive. I'm also pleased with my line of spending and have never had a problem making payments and checking other information online. I have heard some people have had less than ideal experiences with their customer service, but so far I have had little reason to get in touch. Overall, I have saved a quite a bit on airfare over the years I've been a cardholder and can't imagine going back.

I love my SkyMiles card for a lot of reasons. It's helping me build my credit for one thing but more importantly I gain miles for every purchase. I've used the miles to make several trips and couldn't have made them without the 30,000 bonus miles you receive when you first sign up for the card. Another perk is one FREE checked bag for everyone in your party (your AMEX card must be used to book reservation). The interest rates aren't bad either though I am a very responsible spender :) Getting approved for this card was simple and I recommend it to anyone who likes to travel or spend money! I wish there were other rewards associated with this card but so far I can't really complain.

I am a frequent flyer and I have to say that I LOVE my Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card, by AMEX. I applied to it online and get approved right away, and after spending $500 in less then 3 months, I got a 30,000 miles bonus, meaning $300 towards a plane ticket. With this I could get a round trip to Florida for some vacation without spending anything. Every time I spend a dollar, I get a mile, and 2 miles for every dollar spent with Delta, oh and by the way, these miles never expire! You check your first baggage for free, saving you $25 each way, and you can share this offer with up to 9 other people traveling with you, useful when you have a big family or a lot of friends, isn’t it? Also you can enjoy priority boarding. I really recommend the card and even if you are not a frequent flyer, it is always nice to save on plane tickets or hotel rooms and use the savings towards some more fun during vacation time.

The Gold Delta Sky Miles credit card was a godsend when I first came across it. My wife and I love to travel and we’ve seen and uses plenty of other mileage rewards cards but so far Gold Delta is our favorite. Our family loves to do two things: spend money and travel around the states. The Gold Delta card is pretty much a perfect answer to that. One of the biggest perks, other than the 30 thousand mile bonus is the fifty dollar baggage discount per passenger. 50 dollars may not seem like a lot but with a family of six 3 hundred dollars a month adds up pretty quickly. I love my Gold Delta Skymiles card and I don’t plan on giving it up anytime soon.

I use my Gold Delta SkyMiles Credit Card from American Express for just about any purchase I can. I got this card many years ago and have honestly been very pleased with little to no issues at all. The apr really isn’t too bad for a credit card and on top of that I get a ton of bonus miles that can be used for flights to just about anywhere. Since I have had this card I was able to go on several trips without paying a dime on airfare. If you like to travel or fly then you should totally get this card.
