Paying off and letting my card sit. After they've raised my apr for absolutely no reason to 26% during a pandemic just shows how awful a company they are. The huge kicker is that it's 2021 and they still don't allow automatic payments. Essentially if you miss by a single day you get hit with the huge late fee. Dropping this card and company.

Worst credit card company ever. Lane Bryant and Full Beauty credit cards charged me $29.00 late fees for making my payment early! I made my payment on July 10th that was due on August 6th. I just got a statement that my payment was late. They charged me a late fee. I called and asked why they said that the payment was too early so it went on last months payment. I dont understand. If
my payment was due on the 6th then it should have switched over by the 10th and the payment should have went on the next statement. So they charged me $29.00 each for making a payment too early. They also will not reverse the late fee.… show more

I rarely use this card, as i find Lane Bryant's clothing to be matronly and dowdy. I keep it, quite honestly, because it helps me have a longer credit history, which keeps my credit score up. Weeks ago, I received an email stating that my card was going to be cancelled due to non-use. So, I bought one item and had it shipped. As soon as the charge was displayed, I tried to pay off
the credit card. I tried every day for ten days, on different platforms and different browsers, but couldn't submit the payment. Finally, I sent a message and their response was to call their customer service line. 45 minutes later, I was finally able to complete the payment. I'm convinced that not allowing me to pay early is a shady way of being able to charge interest or even forcing me to incur a late payment fee. It's a shame, and one I fully place on Lane Bryant, as Torrid uses the same bank, and I've never had issues making that payment.… show more

You CANNOT set up auto-pay with this credit card, unlike every other credit card out there. You have to log on to the website manually to pay your bill every month. This is set up to entrap you because you will forget, and BAM! There's that late fee. Avoid this credit card!

Lane Bryant has beautiful clothes, but the bank they are associated with is horrible a nightmare, don't get their credit card I recommend, because they will hurt your credit more than help, they check your credit reports without your permission, and lower your credit line, they don't care how well your making your payments on time, but about your past and your credit reports, close those cards BOYCOTT LANE BRYANT for using COMMENITY BANK.

They did't show my complete balance when I paid my account in full in July, they added fees after I paid it in full. Then I never got a statement showing I owed anything. Since I didn't use the card and thought I paid it off, I didn't check on it. Funny how they can't get me a statement, but managed to send my past due notice.

I wish I could give zero stars. I wish Lane Bryant had a different Bank to hold customer credit card accounts.
Comenity Bank has got to be the worst company ever to deal with. When I make payments they routinely pull money from my bank account then they hold the money for several days and charge 2-3 “fees” plus a late fee and fees on the late fee before applying my payment to my account.
It is easy to look and see at times that late fees were added on the same date they applied a payment. Then I can see in my bank account where the payment came out sometimes a week or more before the due date. Since I complained about this I can now see they wait until the day or so after to apply the payment.
I haven’t charged anything on my card in over 12 months and they have added about $900 in all their charges. It doesn’t matter how much I pay and how many days before my due date that I pay, they still make up some stupid excuse about glitches or needing 7 business days to process a payment. They are never able to tell me what kind of “fees” they charge multiple times a month.
They tried to tell me I couldn’t close my account with them when I told them verbally and then in writing to close it. This company does not have integrity. Do not do any business with them. Stay away from Comenity Bank.… show more

Worst card ever. I applied for the card in-store because the saleslady was pushing the promotional discount, but then I never used the card. Nonetheless they sent a bill for $100+. It was impossible to get through to a real person on their phone line, there was no option for disputing a charge, and the voice recognition did not recognize the concept no matter how I reworded it. Finally I told it to close the
account. It said it had done so. I mailed them a check along with a letter telling them to close the account. In response all I got was another bill, for a late charge and interest. Doesn't say closed account. Also the bill does not print the account number, only the last four digits, and I cannot access their online system without an account number. So now I'm sending them another check and a letter, and if they still don't close the account, I guess I'll have to get a lawyer. Lessons learned for me, never fall for an in-store credit card application again, and avoid all things Lane Bryant. That one-time immediate in-store discount is going to end up costing me close to $150, or more if I can't get them to close the account without making up anymore charges or fees. Easy application process. But high APR, poor customer service, and the clothing quality/prices are hit or miss. Rewards are more like coupons as they have limited windows of use. But if you are in a bind and need to get an outfit for something like a new job or something, and you know you can pay it off in a month or at most by the second month, it would be worth it. Or if

I wish I could give this store a 0 rating! After over 10 years of being a loyal customer, they charged me a late fee after I paid my bill (on the day it was due) just because it was after 8 pm. Absolutely ridiculous! I even spoke to a representative and called in to pay my bill and she never mentioned anything about a late fee being applied. Needless to say, I hate that

This card is a joke. The APR is ridiculous, I never get the bonus points unless I call and ask why I haven't gotten them, and the online "customer service" is useless. You have to call someone and that is 50/50 if you are going to get a friendly person that actually helps

I've been a customer for a long time I decided to check my interest rate and apparently the interest rate changed in 2015 so now im paying two interest rates a month. I plan to pay this card off and never step into that store again. This is so wrong, yeah this use to be my favorite card too until this happened.

Comenity Bank is the worst company I have ever dealt with... that seems like an exaggeration, but its not. My sister is the primary account holder, and I pay the bill, they will not allow an authorization for me to speak on behalf of the policyholder when it come to any billings issues... and they do have a lot. I made a payment on 4/1/2016, then another one to reduce my balance on 4/15/2016.. After
6 days that they did not pull the funds, I bounced the check. When I called, Debbie the representative, she got an attitude with me, "well it is your fault you bounced the check, sweetheart". After retorting a couple of "sweethearts" back to her, and I understand I made a mistake, I'll own up to it, I questioned why was there a late charge or my account reading late after I made a payment that went through on the 1st. She calmed down and said it was a system issue... After quite some time on the phone, the card is now closed, a decision my sister and I made mutually. Comenity Bank Lane Bryant store card is junk. Without autopay options on this store card account, I received no email ( even though signed up ) that I saw, I got no SMS for late fees. Had phone calls from a number I did not recognize and was not identified as comenity or Lane Bryant ( or I would have answered ) . they left no messages . since I get constant calls from telemarketers

I called to make a payment over the phone 4 days before my bill was do.. They only accepted an electronic transfer payment from my checking account. I got a payment confirmation, and nothing was ever taken out of my bank account, now 3 days over due, I checked into my account online to see why it hadn't posted, to find that it never went through.. So, now I have a late fee on top
of a $25 payment return fee.. So, now I am paying an additional $60 for something that cost me $30... Nice.. I called a csr and they told me that it will give me a payment confirmation even if I 'may have hit the wrong button' while entering my account info.. So, make sure you enter your acct numbers right! I'm going to the store to pay off the balance and I'm closing my account. The clothes are way overpriced, for the crap fabric they're made with these days, anyway.. I like the Lane Bryant card, I like earning the bonus $20 every now and again but I would like it more if the bonus coupon didn't expire. I earned it, I'd like to use it when I get around to it, not the month the company says I have to. I wish the APR was lower, I don't care to charge to it often because I don't want to pay that high interest rate.

We've had a lane bryant card for a few years now, first starting off as a basic member with $150 in credit, and ultimately leading up to platinum status at the moment with over $600 in credit. That's one heck of a shopping spree! Applying for the card was quick and easy and done right there on the spot in the store. We got our card in the mail about a week later so that
was a really fast turn around. The APR is a little high, but when you reach platinum status you can call them up and negotiate for a lower rate. Having this card entitles you to their magazine monthly and you frequently get coupons for things like $75 off $150, which means you can really maximize your savings. I would like to see more credit line increases, but that and the APR are about the only negatives I can think of.… show more

The Lane Bryant Card is great. The application process was quick and easy. I love that even when I don't have the cash in hand I can still shop during the special sales. I even get some extra perks for being a card holder. I love the ability to pay online, as I never think to mail a payment. The reminder payment reminder emails are helpful. Having the card definitely makes me shop a little more often then I would normally, but it does allow me to take better advantage of sales and discounts. I can easily make payments at the store, and for me that's a plus and helps me stay on top of my payments.

I absolutely love this card! I've had it for at least four years now. The company shows their appreciation with reward cheques. Also, there are special coupons and sales for cardholders, which i always try to take advantage of. Lane Bryant's clothes are made to last so every penny charged is well spent. Also the card can be used with their sister companies.

Initially I applied for the card to get the discount at the store. I was surprised to be approved, but in the year since then this card has turned into a serious asset for my business life. I don't have to worry now if I need to go and get a new outfit for a sudden trip or meeting - and wearing better clothing has boosted my confidence at work too.

I have had the Lane Bryant card for many years. I use it mainly for lingerie as the fit and support are excellent. I occasionally buy other items at the store as long as the "bling" factor is low. I prefer a more understated look. The interest rate is pretty high, but is manageable as long as the bill is paid off quickly. I have not used it online as I prefer to try things
