The Mariott Rewards Credit Card is such a great card to have. Especially for people who often stay in hotels. After a certain amount of money you spend you can get bonuses, For example, if you spend $1,000 you can get a $30,000 bonus. This is one of the few rewards cards that don't charge a fee for signing up. In comparison to the Hilton HHonors Credit Card, this card offers a lot more and is definitely my favorite. Especially since i prefer to stay at the Marriot over the Hilton.

The Marriott Rewards card is perfect for people who often stay in hotels. The rewards points can be used to stay at a hotel, converted to airline miles, and many other options. The Marriott Rewards card even comes with initial bonus points. The interest rate on the Marriott Rewards card is very generous at only 15.24% which is significantly less than the typical 18-20% you’d see from a higher end Capital One card in the same class. The Cash Advance rate is pretty high comparatively which is one drawback, but overall there are a lot of beneficial features to this card.

I really like the fact that you can get a 30,000 initial bonus after $1000 in charges. Add to that 4 night stay the initial 2 nights free that they give you…that’s almost a whole week free! If you travel frequently, this card is a no brainer. It won’t take long at 3 points to rack up more free nights as you travel. The 10 nights credit towards Elite status is a nice perk too. Again if you travel regularly you will be able to reach Elite quicker, affording you the extra status perks 10 nights quicker! Its got a really great rate too.

The Marriott Credit Card is a good credit card for those who frequently use Marriott when booking hotels. With a no fee sign-up, and a 30,000 point reward if spending $1000 in the first 3 months, this card has potential to start tacking up free nights quickly. And when using this card either at a Marriott or for regular purchases, you can earn 3 or 1 point extra per dollar spent. And who can go wrong with a free 2 night stay at a hotel when activating this card. Now, the reason I cannot rate this card a 5 is for the following reasons. First, there is a $45 annual fee, where as other cards like Hilton do not. Also, if using a Hilton rewards card, you can earn 6 points per dollar at Hilton hotels, 3 points per dollar at gas stations and grocery stores, and 1 point per dollar everywhere else. When you do the math, the Hilton is a much better card, plus the intro reward is 40,000 points. The low APR is a bonus for this card, so if Marriott is your choice of stay, and you dont mind fronting $45 a year, then this card will not serve you wrong.

I like that the card came with 2 free nights upon account approval. The standard apr is competitive and the annual fee is lower than many. The 3 points for every dollar spent at marriott properties is awesome and the 1 for $1 for all other transactions is similar to other reward cards. I did not like that you had to spend $1,000 in the 1st 3 months to qualify for the 4 free nights...that may not be an easy task so it appears to me to be one of those offers that marriott is counting on you never to qualify for..its just lip service to make the offer look better. I did not like that you did not get bonus points upon first transaction no matter the amount...most other reward cards offer that. Lastly, I wish the marriott card offered a balance transfer intro offer of 0% or some other low % for a period of time

The Marriott Rewards Credit Card really doesn't stand out to me as a superior card. Their 15% interest maybe a bit on the low side of average, but not enough to stand out. They do offer an intro rate for the first year, which is great. A lot of cards seem to be getting rid of intro rates. $45 a year annually isn't too bad and its comparable to a lot of other credit cards. They have a very good rewards program, if you travel a lot. They also offer travel protection, which could come in handy for a frequently traveler. Their cash advance rate is rather high and I wouldn't consider this card as a go to card. I would only recommend for people who travel monthly.

The Marriott Rewards Credit Card is useful for those who prefer to stay in, and can afford to stay in Marriott Hotels. The sign on initial bonuses are certainly attractive and the 30,000 start up points could definitely be put to good use, but the three month minimum spending limit of 1,000$ seems very high and I would not be able to meet that requirement. The annual fee after the first year is also very high and is a complete turn off. I don't know why someone would want to pay to have a card with which to pay them more money, doesn't make sense, but it is a good choice for those who travel a lot, but in my opinion there are a lot better cards out there.

I would say the Marriott Rewards Credit Card is obviously a good card for people that travel a lot and especially use Marriott hotels. I like the initial bonus point offer, but at the same time, doubt that I would spend that much in three months to qualify. However, the annual fee puts me off quite a bit. I currently have a rewards card with Capital One that has a similar rewards setup, no annual fee and of course, their no hassle rewards system. Obviously with this Marriott card, you get the full use from it if you do a lot of traveling. I don't see it being as appealing to someone who doesn't.

If you have excellent credit and love rewards then this is the right card for you. Your search can now end. There are so many programs and rewards with this card that it is hard to count all of them in one review. All I have to say is get this card. I was so thrilled at receiving a free 2 night stay, after I unknowingly qualified. You can redeem points for almost anything, for example you can choose between airline miles, travel or hotel stays. This card is great for anyone who loves to have a great time. Highly recommended.

The Marriott Rewards card surprised me with how good it was. The rewards truly are great. Marriott is a great hotel and is known by many, and the amount of points one can rack up and use is great. Just by spending $1000 in the first few months will get you 4 free nights! That's a whole weekend getaway vacation for most. Customer service is also great with them. If you travel a lot and don't mind marriott, this is the card for you. Plus, APR is pretty low compared to most other cards, and the grace period of 3 weeks is pretty typical of other cards.
