I charged $90.52 on the gas card in ONE month but was billed a total of $209.52 because of their hidden service fees. NOT WORTH IT! They will approve you, charge you a $40 account setup fee, then suspend your account and say it is pending approval. They charge a $2 card whether you use it or not and if you forget to pay the $2, it is a $75 late fee.

Do not get this card, bad experience with customer service, high charges. Called several times to cancel a card, was told everything that I was canceled and they kept billing month to month for unspecified charges.

QT the store is great, but First National Bank of Omaha, who administers the card, is TERRIBLE. Their website is archaic and barely functions. Last week on payday (so, you know, a pretty important day for payment functionality to be working) I tried to pay my bill and when I hit submit, it looked like it was processing, then said that my payment couldn't be processed, please try again later. So I waited a few hours, assuming that their website was being its usual buggy self and that my payment would eventually show in the "Pending Payments" section. Hours later when it didn't show (and I hadn't received the normal email confirming I'd scheduled a payment), I took that to mean that the payment did not process (since, you know, that's what their website told me) and I tried to make a payment again. This one went through normally. I received the confirmation email and this payment (just the one!) showed in the "Pending Payments" section on the website.
A day later, the payment cleared my bank. All was well.
Until today, when a duplicate payment cleared my bank. Apparently "your payment could not be processed, please try again later" means "we'll process this eventually, but we're not going to send you any confirmation or show that this payment is still in the works." I called the customer service number on the back of my card, which has no way to speak to an operator or report a problem. I had to choose a random option (change address) that I thought would have to be done by a human in order to get in contact with a real person. When I told the woman what had happened, she looked into it and said that both payments had posted and that she couldn't reverse them. She could send me a check, however. I'd get it in 15 days. (She was very nice and as helpful as she could be under the circumstances.)
I said no thanks, I'd leave the credit on my account. So now I'm off to make a transfer to cover their mistake. I'm fortunate to be in the position to do this, and I just want to warn anyone who may not be able to make an emergency transfer to cover this terrible company's mistakes.
If you need this gas card, just hope that you don't have any problems you'd need to contact them about. And know that their website and payment system is buggy and if you need to contact customer service, you'll have to just pick a random number on the phone menu to get to a live person.

QT is one of the best convenience stores to ever exist. Although sometimes they may be hard to find if you venture far from the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, I recommend a stop here anytime you see one. QT is not your typical convenience store. They have almost every single type of beverage you could possibly imagine, not to mention multiple assortments of milkshakes, smoothies and slushie drinks. QT also has amazing food that is heated day and night. Their prices are extremely fair, and they also have really cheap gas. The last time I went into QT, they were having great sales on food and drink, so I stocked up for the family. Employees are always nice and gracious too. Make your stop at QT ASAP!

The QuikTrip Gas Card appears to be a very useful kind of card. First off though it doesn't look like it's a good beginner's credit card (based on the required credit score to obtain one). The thing I like is the no annual fee. Those are just the worst and pointless fees a card can have. And an even better feature is the no interest or finance charge if paid in full by the due date. Interest rates are what kills you and for them to have none is just great. I know because on my current card with Citibank, I get killed by those. I guess the only thing I don't like is the 18% interest rate, that seems a bit high. But again if you pay your statement in full there's no problem.

The QuikTrip Gas Card is great if you're on the road a lot. The rewards cater to those that commute; a 5 cent bonus per gallon and you can save 5 cents per gallon on the first 400 gallons. The purchase isn't different from other comparable cards but has a 18% Regular Rate. The downside is that there's no balance transfers, although the upside is no annual fee, and no interest if you pay in full by each due date. In comparison to the HESS Credit Card, the rewards from QuikTrip is lacking due to the 3% rebate on eligible Hess accessories up to $400. Also the HESS card allows for balance transfers and is VISA. Overall, if you're commuting through an area that's filled with QuikTrip stations, then the QuikTrip Gas Credit Card is something to look into.

QuikTrip Gas Card is an awesome card to have, especially since I just started a job in which I travel TONS! The ave 5 cents per gallon on the first 400 gallons purchased in the first five billing cycles is pure heaven for me! Ive saved tons of money filling up day to day during my travels. This card is great for saving on your gas bills, especially with these atrocious prices now a days.

I love Quik Trip stores, they have great food and drinks and I usually always get my gas there, so it's nice to get a little bit back on my gas purchase the way prices are now. However, there are a few downsides to this card. The fixed APR at 18% isn't terrible, but it's not that great for those of us with good credit. Additionally, there is no introduction period, which has been standard on every other card I have had. Basically, the QuickTrip Gas Card is for purchases and discounts on gas, it's not exactly a fully-featured credit card.

For a long Time I liked Q.T, and the service that broy site it, until I started learning about the selective picking of the type of people they hire. Need to be newly high school graduate, maybe under 25 years old, older applicants ??? I think you got the message! It has been about 13 year since I put a foot in any Q.T store... I believe Q.T is like Walmart, Walmart put hard working people out of business, Q.T puts the mature people out of mysery.

If it’s going to be that quick of a trip, I don’t think you’d need that much gas (ba-dum-ching). Bad joke aside, I don’t think they really gave the QuikTrip Gas Card its name because it helps you fill up for short trips, but rather because the name hints at simplicity and convenience and gets you thinking that the card will make your travels less arduous. It makes sense too because the QuickTrip Credit Card’s only real draw is simplicity (i.e. you wont have to go inside a gas station’s office to fill up, especially helpful if it’s cold). The QuickTrip Card does not have a low introductory interest rate (regular rate is 18%) and the only rewards it offers are 5 cents off per gallon for the first 400 gallons you buy in the first 5 billing cycles. That means the maximum amount of free cash you can get from it is $20. In this respect, the QuickTrip Card obviously does not compare to other gas credit cards, which may offer as much as 15 cent/gallon rebated or 5% off your total gas purchase. The only people who should really consider getting it are those who frequent QuikTrip locations and cannot qualify for an unsecured credit card. It doesn’t have an annual fee, so it wont be costly to have, and but it will make trips to QuikTrip gas stations much easier.
For those who can qualify for a traditional rewards credit card and are able to get gas at other stations, some options to consider are the BP and ExxonMobile credit cards since they offer attractive rewards on gas purchased at those stations. If you simply want a card that will help you build credit, the Orchard Bank Secured Card is a good and cheap option.
