I got a Radio Shack Store Card a few years ago to finance a big purchase and am still using it today. It's a great card to finance through with a fair no interest program as long as you pay it off in year. With a minimum purchase of 300 hundred dollars that's really simple. It has a high interest rate like every other store card. My Home Depo card is actually a little higher and you need to spend a lot more to qualify. The card is also really handy for Christmas. If you have kids you know you need to buy a million batteries and they give you 15 percent off on all batteries in store which is an awesome deal.

This is the best card I've reviewed by far. It starts off good and only gets better and better. There's no annual fee, you get an introductory ten percent discount just for being accepted. The only thing you have to worry about is the ridiculously high interest rate. The way you can negate that however is by paying it off in 6 months after the purchase or sooner. I like the fact they give you a 25 day grace period. The only other thing I dislike about the card is that it can only be used in radio shack stores.

This Radio Shack store card seems fairly run of the mill in many ways. There is no annual fee, The annual interest rate on this card is 28.99% for purchases however if you spend at least 150 dollars and then pay the card off within the 1st 6 months, there will be no interest on it, and the same goes for 300 dollars or more of purchases within the year if paid off within that 12 months. What is interesting about the card is not so much the 10% discount on first purchase, but the fact that you get 15% off of all store stocked batteries so if that is something you like to buy here this card is for you. The interest rate is similar to the HSBC credit card I have, only mine has a 29% interest rate and there is an annual fee on mine of 99 dollars per year. Not too shabby if you like Radio Shack, and I do!

This card has been a hit right from the start. I am always looking for a bargain and I got 10% off my first purchase. Do not laugh but...you also get 15% off battery purchases. I stock up when they are on sale and save big! I pay whatever I owe off at the end off every month to avoid interest fees. If you shop at Radio Shack this is the card for you. It is very easy to make payments in the store or online, which ever you prefer. Also if you pay on time they offer bonuses and promotions.

Like many store cards, the Radio Shack credit card has a pretty high APR at 28.99%. In my experience you can often buy electronics cheaper at other retailers like Target and Sears, which have store cards with APR's of around 22 and 25 respectively. I don't think the initial bonus of a 10% discount merits such a high APR on the Radio Shack card. What I think redeems this card to a large extent is the financing plan the store offers. If you spend at least $150, you have 6 months of no interest if you pay your balance in full, and if you spend $300 or more, then you have a whole year. That is actually a good deal if you plan on making a big purchase. If you can't avoid the high APR, however, I would just suggest using your regular credit card if you must.

I am not usually a big fan of store cards unless it is a Macy's or Nordstrom's card. When I went to college, I need to make some purchases and I did not have a car. The closest thing around me was a radioshack. At radioshack, I had to buy a phone, camera and a printer so I got this card. I got this card to get the discount which was not that great. I think I would been better off to not have this card and look for coupons. The only reason this card is not 1 star because it allows financing. I was able to payoff all my purchases within 4 months. I was not ready to pay interest on purchases especially on Radioshack- the interest rate is too high. Once i paid it off, I closed it immediately. This card was really no good for anything else. Their employees at the store don't really know about the card so whenever I had questions I call the national line.

I don't really see the benefit of the Radio Shack Store Card, especially in relation to similar store credit cards. This card offers the typical 0% interest rate for the first 12 months and you get a discount off your first purchase. Other than those, I don't see any other particular benefits of this card. In fact, I think the interest rate after the introductory period is higher than other store credit cards. The rewards program also leaves a lot to be desired. It would be difficult for me to recommend this card.

The Radio Shack Store Card is not a good credit card to have. The only benefit they have going for it is the no APR for 6-12 months depending on how big your purchase is. So if you are that hard up for cash, this might be something to consider. But if you do have the cash the rewards are horrible. 10% off your first purchase is nice, but you save relatively nothing after that. You get 15% off store stocked batteries, but you'll be better buying batteries off of Amazon or CostCo to save more than 15% compared to Radio Shacks prices.

It doesn't seem like there's enough incentive to buy this Radio Shack Store Card. The 10% discount is nice, but it only applies to the first purchase, whereas something like the Target credit card gives 5% off on every purchase. The discount on the batteries is a nice idea too, but I buy batteries less and less every year and I can only think of, like, three things I use batteries for anymore. I also don't usually go to Radioshack. All of the things I would normally buy there are available at larger stores where I can also buy groceries and dvds and clothes and stuff like that, therefore a Radioshack store card would be almost worthless to me and would certainly not be convenient.

I would not advise getting the Radio Shack Store Card. While you get a discount of 10% off your first purchase, that is the only good reward offer this card has. While they do offer no interest for 6 or 12 months depending on the purchase price, the APR beyond that is higher than most cards out there. When you factor in they don't have a rewards program for every day purchases even at their own store, I cannot recommend this card. If you must shop at Radio Shack, use another rewards credit card that will give you at least some sort of cash back on your purchase.
