I think the radio shack store card is fair, as with all store cards it is only useful if you use the store on a regular basis and as other reviewers have said if you prefer online shopping than this card wont be for you. Having said this with no fee there is no reason not to have this card in your pocket and use it when needed. The interest rate is quite high for a store card unlike old navy and others but this is countered by the breaks you get for high value purchases (6 months interest free for purchases over $150 etc.) and the discount on batteries (15%) is great in the run up to xmas if you have kids and are buying lots of battery using toys. Overall it wont cost you anything to have it and it may come in handy for those big purchases.

I agree with what a lot of the other reviewers are saying about the Radio Shack Store Card. If you love Radio Shack and go there a lot for your needs, then yes!- this is the card for you, most likely. But if you're a lover of all things Amazon, ebay, and Wal-Mart...then maybe you should look elsewhere. The APR is pretty high so I hope you don't carry a balance. Honestly, it seems a lot like the Target Credit card with the initial 10% off and then the periodic rewards. I had the Target credit card for a bit, but I just didn't think the rewards were worth it, but I hope it's not the case with this card!

The Radio Shack Store Card seems okay. It's basically a rewards store card, much like any other, so if you shop at Radio Shack a bunch, it's worth it. For anyone else though, why bother. High APR, and nothing else that stands out as beneficial. But like I said, if you shop there, the rewards might be nice. I don't have all the details on the rewards, but they might be worthwhile, though I personally wouldn't buy batteries from Radio Shack. My experience with store cards is that you want to sign up for them only if you use that store quite a bit, and the rewards are worth it to you. Like with my Kohl's store card, the rewards from their bonus sales add up to quite a bit of savings, so definitely worth it. Your mileage may vary.

The Radio Shack Store Card isn't a bad card but I probably don't need it. I do find myself shopping at Radio shack quite often, but the discount just isn't good enough to make you use this card. That is if you have another half decent rewards credit card that gives cash back. The discount for buying batteries is nice, and if you are planning on spending quite a bit there, then maybe it would be worth it to use this card, As you get no interest on purchases if you pay it off within 6 months I believe. It's a good store card, but might be replaced if you have another rewards credit card.

The Radio Shack Store Card is a really good card to have. It is decent and for those of you that shop at Radio Shack, it can come in handy. I like that you do not need amazing credit to get it and also that there is no annual fee. That is always a good thing. Now they do have decent rewards, but i dislike that the rewards are a bit stale. Any discount is great. Don't get me wrong, saving money is lovely, but compare to other store cards such as the Best Buy card, the rewards aren't that great. A nice perk to this card is that you can get 15% off of store-stocked batteries.

The Radio Shack Store Card is pretty decent for people that frequently shop at Radio Shack. There is no annual fee, you earn discounts such as 10% or 15% off purchases and if you pay your balance in full within the first 6 months, there is no interest. It is similar to the Kohl's credit card as they also offer special discounts of 15-30% although they have no zero interest introductory offer. Neither of the cards have annual fees, but they both have high interest, ranging from 22% to 29%. It is best to pay your balance in full each month to avoid extra charges.

At the time this might of sounded like a good idea, but now I learned I probably should of just paid cash. I ended up applying for a Radio Shack Store Card because I wanted to buy some photography equipment. I didn’t have enough cash at the time but I would of a few months later if I would of just waited. I ended up buying $1500 in equipment including a camera and put it all on the store card. With interest I paid about $500 over what I would of paid if I would of just had patience and waited. I didn’t have any problems with the card and paid part of the balance every month, but it really wasn’t worth it since this was the only thing I was buying. Buying photography equipment from Radio Shack probably wasn’t even the best idea anyways and using a credit card to get it was just stupid.
