Some companies automatically give you a late fee even if its one day late. You can still call and ask for that late fee to be waived, some credit card companies are genrous with late fees and will remove them without giving you trouble if you agree to pay off...

Verified CustomerMy credit limit was cut by over half. Was never notified, only became aware before making a purchase. When contacting Synchrony, I was given a boilerplate excuse. I have three other Synchrony accounts with considerably larger limits, yet no change. They acknowledged that I have never missed a payment in over two years. I have no lates on any of my other cards, and my overall credit usage is about 40%.
Needless to say when your credit usage goes from about 33% on an account, to almost 98% because of the limit decrease, it will have a tremendous effect on your overall credit score.
I'm furious.

Verified CustomerThis card has been closed for years. It should not show up on my report. I have called Sam's credit several times and asked to have it removed since 2013. Yet here it still is. The rates are way too high.

Verified CustomerWow! What would we do without our SAM’S Club! We love it! The store has been making some changes since we got a Costco in Tallahassee, and in Pensacola they got a BJs so SAM’S does need to stay on top of things! We love the clean look in the store. It’s time for a remodel. The store has and amazing online ordering options that helps with getting your stuff to where you need to be. If you ever have a problem with anything you have gotten at SAMS long as it’s on your Sam’s account you most likely won’t have any problem getting the answers you need

So far, I've been excited about getting the extra money from points to use towards my balance (so far I've received about $40). I'm also very excited it has no international usage fees.

Don’t get this card even though you get asked every time you check out, there’s a light on the register that tells the associate. I finally caved and got one since I shop every week in Sam’s and used the card for every purchase I made after getting it to take advantage of the rewards. Then we wanted to use it to purchase a bed for several thousand dollars, and paid off our bill. Synchrony bank puts a hold on your payments for up to 21 days. So they have your money, it’s been released from the bank, so based on your credit limit, you can’t use your card. We raised our credit limit with no issue, and paid off the account and will always do that because of the horrible interest rate. Our current open to buy on a $5000 limit is $240 even though they have had our money for 18 days. We understand that they may be upset because they don’t get exorbitant fees from us, but that’s my main motivation for paying it off, and even with a credit score we’ll over 800 you’re going to pay in excess of 20% interest. So why am I writing this? Because this is the only venue I can vent on. Contact synchrony, they don’t care at all. Contact Sam’s and you can only get through to a call center that reads from a script and refuses to help. Their only solution is to contact Synchrony. I hope you’ll do what I should have done, use wallet hub to find a card that provides the same incentives with someone other than synchrony. Most corporations are looking for these cards because they save half the fees, and won’t take responsibility for the real provider of the card. We will looking at our local Costco.
