The easiest way you can pay your TJX Store Card is online. Alternatively, you can make a payment over the phone at (800) 952-6133 or by mail. You can also set up automatic payments.
Ways to Make a TJX Store Card Payment
Online: Log in to your online account, select the “Summary” tab, and click on “Make a Payment.” Then, choose how much to pay, when to pay it, and where the payment is coming from.
You can also make a payment without logging in to your account, by clicking on the "Pay as Guest" button. To set up automatic payments, you will have to log in to your online account, though.

By mail: Send a check or money order (but not cash) to:
TJX Rewards Credit Card P.O. Box 530948 Atlanta, GA 3053-0948
Keep in mind that paying your credit card bill by mail takes the longest. Make sure to send it at least 7 days before the due date, so that it won't be late. Write your name and credit card number on the check, too.
You need fair credit to get approved for the TJX credit card, which means a credit score of 620 or above. Your credit score won't be the only factor taken into account, however, so this is only a guideline.
With that being said, you're right to consider a store...
Yes, you can use your card at Marshalls, T.J.Maxx, HomeGoods and Sierra Trading Post. And you will earn 5 points for every $1 spent at these stores. Best of luck!
If you meet the credit requirements for the Platinum version (i.e. a credit score of 700+), you may be offered that card instead of the store card. If you apply for the Platinum and aren't approved, you...
Yes, the TJX Store Card will do a hard pull. You will need a credit score of at least 640 to get it, which is on par with what most store cards require.
There is no way to pre-qualify for the TJX Store Card. A hard pull usually causes...
You might get a TJX Store Card pre-approval letter if you fit the issuer's criteria for offering you one. Unfortunately, there's no other way to check if you pre-qualify for this card.
Getting pre-approved is only a soft pull on your credit, but it doesn't guarantee your actual approval for the TJX...
The TJX Store Card mainly uses TransUnion for approval. That doesn't mean it won't use Experian or Equifax, or all of them when doing a hard pull on your credit report.
But don't worry about the randomness of it. If you're using your credit responsibly, all of these reports should...
I opened this card at a time when I shopped more frequently at TJ Maxx and figured why not get the rewards. They however continually don't send statements and proceed to charge late fees and interest. I just signed up for e-statements to try to avoid this in the future. I've disputed a couple of times but it is exhausting and I don't always have time to argue their slimy practices. I'd cancel my card out of spite but that would also hurt me more than them. I have several other cards that I NEVER have issues with and pay off in full. Literally cannot possibly recommend as they'll charge you in fees whatever rewards you do get.

I had this card for years, and as long as they made interest off me, it was fine. Then I was finally able to pay off my balance, and they closed my card without telling me. I assume it’s because they’re not making interest off me any more. This has destroyed my credit utilization on my credit report. Slimy.

Do not even think about opening this card no matter how much they beg. I used this card when I got it in August, paid the balance in full on August 20, used it gain in August, paid half the bill on September 1. Now they say my minimum payment is due September 25th. I pay all bills on the first of the month and I am never ever late. I don't understand their billing process. I called customer service and was told that I could pay early if I want to but they cant credit the account after the closing date, which I didn't know till I asked and found out. I paid this card off and I would close it but I don't want to lower my credit score, I'll just keep it open until they decide to close it for non use.

I had the card for almost a year. NEVER late with a payment. The balance was paid in full every month except once when I paid it over two months. Without warning TJX dropped the limit on my card from around $1500 to $110. Per customer service, despite my perfect payment record, not only with them and my other cards, they had “done an evaluation” and had “concerns about my creditworthiness”. I cancelled the card. User beware, if you have this card, carry another one, you never know when they will change your terms.

TJX credit card is a RIP-OFF! You can't pay the bill in the store like with AAFES Military Star Card and Macy's. Has $35 late fees

This card is a scam. Had the account since last year. They started me off with a large amount which I pay off faithfully so I have no balance. I went to make a payment and it was denied. Apparently, they can lower your credit about without informing you even though you make all payments the day after purchases. Spoke to customer service and they were no help. Takes 7 days to process payment yet only 12 hours to take it out of your bank account. When soaking to a manager for the card they said this was routine and if I chose to close my account I couldn't re-open and I lose my rewards. This is soooo disappointing for such a large company with many sites involved. My credit score is well above 700 so that was not the issue. Very disappointing so do not apply and waste your time. There are many other cards that give you rewards.

Just a big head ache. It does not have an app to pay online. Payments made but still was charged and immediately $35 fine added. Same happened again even after linking checking account for minimum payment. Wanted to pay off the balance, automated service says account closed, zero credit and zero balance? Takes persistence to get a rep online who seems like he is drunk.. No seriously he seemed like drunk or may be has some disability?. He indicates a balance and confirms account closed? No reason? Pay of the balance to be posted soon.. He hangs ups? Call back, now again have to dodge consistent auto messages telling me of balance and asking for payments... Finally get to a rep who is extreemly angry.. says there is a balance.. I just have had enough. Told her to confirm why account closed and that I just made full payment. She says account Not Closed?.. PLEASE CLOSE IT.. she starts getting loud and upset
Not worth the headache and dodging late payment scams for a fine ( happened twice.. its like I hwve to call them before due date, they charge but not on due date and for non payment on due date.. yes, they fine)
Just to add, had to deal with 15 min of obstacles to post this review

Absolutely the WORST credit card company I have EVER used!! Not Synchrony Bank but The TJX aspect of it all. First payment I tried to pay, I tried to pay on Synchrony and you had to go to the TJX link. (Found this out after Finally having to call them) okay got it, understood. Then establish my log in and password, thought everything was good. Then go to pay the next bill and can’t log in again, username was incorrect which was TOTAL BS!! So I call them again to get my “correct” username and guess what it was the same but was no longer 2 upper case letters. Okay got that settled once again thought everything was good. Then try again next bill and same issue! I am a very busy women who does it have time to go through this every month, so I told myself “I’ll call later” and then didn’t remember to call until I got an alert from my credit monitoring company that my credit score (great score btw) had dropped 250 points!!!! And guess why!? TJ Max lowered my credit limit below what I owed on it. So at this point I’m beyond pissed off! Called, paid, and got my account up to date. Then guess what happened the next month!!?? You guessed it, tried to log in and it did not work once again!!! So called then AGAIN and tried to pay with my Husbands card and they couldn’t accept because he was not right beside me to confirm even though I have used his card the past 2 times paying my bill! But fair enough, that’s the rules. So give them my card number and declined, which was impossible as I sat there looking at my online banking. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?? I have never dealt with a company that has made it almost impossible to pay my bill! Wrapping up, I paid my balance to current and paying off my remaining balance on pay day! I just hope and pray that will go smoothly so I’m DONE with this account! Thank you TJX for taking my great credit score and knocking it to s***! I would not recommend this account to probably my worst enemy! I wish I could have given negative stars!

I was using the card for a mix of work and personal purchases for 6 years. I would save the rewards for holiday shopping. I saw an insurance company charge on my bill and I called to question it. The customer service agent said I had to take it up with the insurance company, the problem is I don't use that company. She would not initiate a fraud claim. I called the next day hoping to get a different rep who could help me address this. Same result. She said they don't have any way to look into the charge or tell me how many months it's been on there. Or who started the billing. I paid the bill in full online and closed the account immediately. (And they voided my $170 in rewards). Ridiculous. They are not equipped to deal with a theft.
